We are a group of 3 people including my mother and we stay in the biggest room with a private bathroom. It is large enough for all of us and we really enjoy our time there. We sleep on a wooden floor with a thin mattress (traditional style) but we sleep very well and very comfortable. Kim and his wife are very nice. He helps us to book a taxi to pick us up at the airport also a taxi to pick us up from the hotel to the airport even we moved out of his place and stay in a different hotel. (His place was fully booked by the time we decide to extend our trip longer). Overall, you will definitely get the nice feeling of staying in a nice traditional house, family atmosphere. Will definitely come back.

Lovely traditional style Korean house

The hotel is tucked away in a a backstreet between Anguk and Jongno, but the map and directions given were very clear. The owners were very friendly and attentive, the house itself has recently been refurbished, the room was comfortable (if a little too warm!), and the overall experience very pleasant. Highly recommended.

The owners of this beautiful hanok are a newly wedded couple, Mr and Mrs Kim. Both of them are very friendly and speak good english. Mrs Kim is very very nice. On our 2 days stay there, she prepared tea snacks for us everyday and it was different snack everytime. She even made pancake for my mum when she said she was hungry while waiting for me to get back to the Hanok for dinner.But one problem is that the water pressure is not consistent, same goes for the hot water running from the shower. At night the ondol flooring can also get too hot for comfort and there's no thermostat in the room for us to adjust it.
But all in all, this is a beautiful hanok experience that we had.
