This was our second time at Centro Hotel. We arrived at the hotel a bit earlier than the 2pm check in time (around 1:45pm) and they asked us to wait until exactly 2pm to check in. The room was nice because it was connected to an outdoor patio/balcony with chairs. However since it was winter time we were unable to use it. The lighting in the room is pretty dark but if it's day time, there's enough sunlight. The shower current was placed sooo far from the tub that all of the water was dripping outside on the floor. So when you finish your shower you have to be super careful not to slip. They also forgot to stock our room with clean towels when we first got in so we had to request some. That night we came home and went to take a shower around midnight or so and there was no hot water. The front desk told us they would turn on the boilers.... and asked us to wait about 15 minutes. We had to call back again because the water was still cold after almost half an hour. We had to wait nearly an hour until we had hot water to take a shower. It seems quite ridiculous to have to wait for so long for hot water at a hotel.

Would not stay here again!

We arrived early (around 1030) after a long overnight flight and the lady at the reception said it was not possible to check in till after 2pm. We asked for her help as we were tired but she wouldnt bend. Luckily another lady that works there came and helped us and she confirmed they did have room ready!!!!! We were not pleased at the original denial.
Room / hotel had no irons so do not bring any clothes that need ironing. they advertise this hotel for business travellers so no idea how they cannot have an iron!!!
Also water pressure was not good, the shower was mediocre.
Considering the price and size we were not impressed. Beds were hard too! To top it off our key wouldnt work...
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Check out the Royal Palace and the riverwalk around the city centre.

Clean and comfortable hotel
It is very close to Nanbu Bus terminal and also many restaurants around the hotel.

The hotel is within 5 mins walk to Nambu Bus terminal. There are also many restaurants around the hotel. So, good for business or transaiting traveler who need to stay in that area of seoul. The hotel is clean and comofrtable, the bathroom is also a bit dark and small. The hotel staff are helpful. Have not get a chance to try the restaurant in the hotel because there are so many restaurants around the hotel and some even open 24 hours.

Lots of eating places around the hotel and many are 24hrs.

No frills and facilities are clean, staff are helpful.
But the nightclub in the basement of the hotrel means you'd be bumping into escorts with drunk customers in the lifts.
International cable channels are limited.
Location was reasonably convenient.

small but efficient hotel

small hotel but very good service. just a few subway stations away to gangnam. very easy to get there either by subway or bus. that's quite convenient even to get to or from the airport.
