Located across from Lotte Hotel. Visit Lotte underground eating area. It is out of this world!
Very near two major street markets and has free Iinternet service! You really can't beat price. Just make sure that you bring your toiletries and remember that this hotel is self service. No one to cater to you. Just plain and basic. But who comes to Seoul to stay locked up in the hotel room? Get out and enjoy the city!
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Visit underground food court of Lottee Hotel across street. Take Seoul City tour bus. Visit two great street markets approximately 5-10 minutes walk. Visit underground malls. Visit both TGI Friday, Starbucks restaurants around corner. Go to Ietawon for more shopping and bargains-clothes fit Americans better there. Shop one side of street 1st day and 2nd side of street on next day to cover area. Visit antique shops in Ietawon. Visit riverwalk behind City Hall at night. Go to Seoul Tower in evening on clear night to get best view of Seoul. Calm down and don't rush.

The hotel guest can use the gym free. In that case, it is necessary to borrow a sportswear set and the key to bus and a card at the front desk. There is a CD Player in the gym. You may find happiness if you take favorite CD.
- Restaurant Tip : There is food court in the Lotte Department Store in front of the hotel. Various restaurants gather. The menu except the Korean food is abundant, too. A price is low generally. I can order it from paper even if I do not understand words if I write a number as 3-1.

Very recommended. Normally, I stayed at Sofitel Ambassador Hotel, but from now on, I will prefer to stay at IBIS Myeong-Dong. Much more convenient for everything you can imagine.

- Shopping Tip : WHEN YOU GET OUT OF THE BLDG. YOU CAN FIND ALL THE NICE STREET VENDORS CARRYING NICE ACCESSORIES, SHOES , HANDBAGS , CLOTHES ETC. ASK FOR 10-20% LESS THEIR RETAIL PRICES BEFORE PAYING IF YOU CAN.
