Best location in seoul, free internet helped me alot, i hope the lobby is in 1st floor, all shopping areas are in walking distance, subway station also not far from hotel, and bus stop to airport right in front of hotel, very convenient. have a mini market in walking distance, everything you need for a hotel.
Shopping Tip : nearby shopping just go by taxi, go subway just make you more tired and wasting time :>

Nice, well kept hotel. Very helpful personnel. Good connections to airport. Good central location, very near Eujioro 1 -underground station. Suitable for everyone althought not the cheapest option. Unless you have a smoking room you will have to go outside for a cigarette. It is quite a bore to go down from the 11th floor bar just for a cigarette. Hotel bath, complimentary, is small but very nice. Breakfast could be a bit over priced. Did not test the restaurant as there are so many restaurants nearby.
There is a refrigerator in the room, but no minibar. Luckily several convenience stores in the area, so one can fill the fridge with drinks and food with supermarket prices.
Some people at the reception could do some improvement with their English, but problem is not huge.
Elevetaros can get a bit crowded, so be prepared to wait a minute or two during check out time.
Upstairs bar offers a very nice view but drinks are a bit on the expensive side. bar closes at midnight which is a bore.
Luckily the open air restaurants down the road are happy to serve beer without food. wont get the view thou.
Hotel Feature Tip : Reception is on the 19th floor, downstaits is only the inormation desk. Skip it and take the elevator up.

Modern, clean and spacious room. Key cards are a little awkward to use for the elevators. Good location in Seoul,helpful front office girls and quality room (standard single).
The hotel and room was as good if not better than most 4 star hotels around the world.
The shower was powerful and the bed comfortable.
On the 10th floor was a handy do it yourself laundry which was cheap as they come.This is seperate from the more expensive laundry service on offer. Location is directly above the Myeuong Dong station which is good. The Lotte Depatment store food court, which is easily accessed from the underground walkway has a great variety of food is you're picky about total hygiene and want options.
Travel tip : Being above the train station was great. The trains don't take too long to work out. The tickets are cheap plus there is a machine for a 500 won refund for the card. The underground walkway is a good way to stay dry if it's raining on the busy streets above.

Excellent location in the heart of Seoul. WIFI and RJ45 connections. European and North American electrical outlets. I really appreciated this hotel for my very first night in Korea. It is easy to reach by direct bus from the airport. It is also ideally located in a very nice part in the heart of the city, at walking distance to a typical market and even to the Namsan park a little farther. The personnel is very friendly and some even speak French.

Great location, very clean, very friendly staffs, very helpful staffs, great experience The concierge downstairs did not help much. I highly recommend this hotel due to the location, value for money, great staffs. I am especially impressed by the amount of attention and patience when I asked the staffs for places of interest and directions. The room is small but suffcient for travellers and for those who doesn't need to be in the room at all times. Ratings places are all nearby. The amazing thing is that the airport shuttle is right in front! The Seoul metro, which is their subway is just minutes away.
Shopping Tip : The shopping areas behind the hotel is closed out from traffic, u can just walk everwhere

This hotel is best value for money if one stays in Seoul. Its location in Myeong-dong means one is not only accessible easily to all the shops and restaurants nearby but also transport facilities via subway to other spots of interest. Although the hotel is not one of the stopover points for the airport bus services, one can easily get off at the Lotte hotel and take a short walk of 5 minutes to find this hotel. After the opening this hotel a few years ago, I have stayed there every time I visit Seoul and have never been disappointed. It is a very practical hotel for business travelers who probably won't care much about luxury offered in 5-star hotels. The hotel is also much tidier and more modern in room facilities than most if not all of the hotels in this district.

in the middle of the city, perfectly for tourism there was always a problem with the electronic key a great place to be, the best part in the city to start your tourismtrip. kind people who even speak rather good english.
Small beds if you compare with europese sizes.
if you are allergic for feathers: bring your own cushion.

The Mechanical Bidet Toilet Seat - this toilet builds in a few features like seat warmer, spray and bidet (clean your ass after you are done with your big business)
The hotel location is simply superb... it is in the centre of the city and the subway station is less than 200m away. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. They even helped me book another hotel at Mt Sorupt. One interesting feature of the hotel is the toilet seat. It has built in seat warmer so that you won't get "freeze bite" on your ass when you sit on it. Also, there's bidet, spray and even massage function to clean your ass after you finished your "big business". There are alot of shops and restuarants just around the hotel itself and more importantly, it is featured in all free maps of Seoul so that you can easily navigate your way there when you are lost.

This hotel is situated in the best area to stay, just opposite to Lotte Department store and in the middle of surroundings with restaurants.
Near to the subway.
The heating: 25 degrees standard in the rooms.
It's possible to get a room with a window that can be opened. We enjoyed our stay, especially because of the surroundings. It's priceworth and we came back after a few days.
The Koreans are rather small, so we changed a double into a twin.
And had a good sleep after that.

Location of the hotel, cleanliness, view Bus stop is not directly in front of the hotel, subway station in front of hotel goes through a shopping area first The hotel is in a great location for shoppers being right in the middle of Myeong Dong district. Even the subway station stop is a series of shops immediately in front of the hotel with the actual subway areas a littler further away.
The hotel staff is extremely friendly, very clean, and efficient. Though the bus stop from the airport isn't in front of the Ibis, they offer a shuttle which would take you to the bus stop that would take you to the airport, so it isn't that much of a hassle except that you have to leave a little earlier.
Free internet is a huge plus, I didn't eat in the restaurant as there are many places just outside to eat at. The reception area on the 19th floor is nice, however it's kind of a bother to meet people.
Seoul is such an active city that you don't spend much time in the hotel except to crash for sleep.
The room itself is comfortable, the bathroom is a bit small, but it's very efficient.
I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to be near the shopping areas.
Nightlife Tip : The subway stops running around midnight, so if you end up staying out later in the nightlife area you'll need to take a taxi back to the hotel. It's relatively inexpensive though as it comes out to less than 10000 won ($10).

Downtown good for shopping till night.
Comfortable and clean. I stayed at IBIS Meyongdong hotel downtown. I like the hotel very much because the hotel locates
next to shopping area and very convenient to visit many places even business areas. Very close to subway station. You can go any places in time. What I like most is its location on the opposit site of LOTTE Plaza, one of the biggest department store. You can enjoy good food at the Food court, also they are on sale at night. I enjoy tasting Korean food and International food ver much. Even Meyong dong , you can have variety good food and products made in Korea. I will visit again next time for sure.

room is clean, service is good, location is also good. No direct airport shuttle bus. Need to take the hotel bus to the bus station. It is convenient for the traveller. Near the subway and shopping area. No far from the palace. You can walk or take the subway easily to every tourist place. There is also 2 tourist information station near by. The price is quite reasonable in Seoul. Feel safe and comfortable for whom travel alone. I am willing to choose this hotel next time.

The Ibis is in an excellent, central location, near shopping and not far by taxi or subway from major tourist destinations in Seoul, such as Insadong Street. The rooms are tiny but well-designed to make the most of the space, and they are well appointed with small luxuries that make life more comfortable, such as good reading lights, internet connection, and even decent storage space. There is a very clean, nice fitness room and a large pleasant breakfast room, both high above the city. Best of all, the staff is excellent, the best I found in Korea. The staff at the front desk were, across the board, helpful and gracious, and spoke excellent English. They went out of their way to help me, even looking up train schedules for me and calling ahead to make reservations for me at another hotel. One has the secure feeling at this hotel that things are well-managed and well-maintained. All in all, I highly recommend this hotel as a good value for the price while staying in Seoul.
Shopping Tip : The Ibis is located right across the street from a major department store, the Lotte, and also from a shopping mall that specializes in young fashions.

Friendly staff, clean room and satisfying amenity.
Furthermore, many staff were able to speak English and Japanese. That was a good point,too. Reception desk was 19th floor, therefore it was a little bit difficult to find. Hotel location was so nice, there is one of the biggest department store which is called LOTTE department store in front of the hotel. Therefore, you can buy various kinds of souvenir anytime and there is a duty free section, too. And, there is a subway station nearby, so you can go many places easily.
Room is not so big, but it is worth it if you just use it for sleeping place.
