Not as good as last stay, found a huge cockroach
location, area, convenient
6
This was our 3rd stay at this hotel, and we have always enjoyed it. However, we booked the royal suite like we did last time (which is huge and fantastic) and they put us in a suite, but it was way smaller and didn't seem as clean. The shower in the suite this time was tiny and the tub was half the size as in the other suite. (The suite to book is the one with the wood in it-- NOT the white suite, though they don't give you a choice, I would recommend requesting it.) This was upsetting because they are the same price, and you aren't getting as much for your money.
The walls in the white suite were scuffed and dirty and the shower and tub didn't seem clean enough. I found a HUGE cockroach in the room that my husband had to kill. The deck was half the size of the other suite, too. Not sure if we will be staying again since our experience wasn't very good this time.

A great tourist attraction

I would say that the hotel staff is quite friendly and helpful. Room decor is very modern and clean. The location is also near the subway. However the entrance is not so easy to find and quite secluded. Anyway enjoy the free popcorn

It was a very pleasent stay at this hotel. Situated at the center of business & tourist attraction of Seoul especially in Insadong & Dongdaemon areas. Nearby to Metro Station of Line 1, 3 & 5 which connected to almost 70% of Seoul City area.
Restaurant Tip:
For muslim traveller, the nearest halal food outlet can be found nearby to exit 3 & 4 Itaewon Metro Station

Nicely designed hotel
close to 3 lines of subway stations, very convenient
9
Staffs are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a little difficult to find, but one of the staff came over to pick us up at the close by subway stations after 3 minutes of calling!! Amazing!! Rooms are a little small, but full with all amenities you need (w/ 2 desktops inside the room). Perfect for both leisure or business trips. Located in central Seoul, very close to 3 lines of subways, so make it very convenient. Lots of restaurants and convenient stores nearby.

Suite is fantastic
Location, design, close to subway, huge suite
8.7
We've stayed here a few times. The regular rooms at this hotel are nice, though fairly small. But the SUITE is huge and really fantastic. There is a walk in shower with two heads and body sprays, a private deck, and a tub that you could seriously fit like six people in. It really isn't expensive for what you get-- great value for the money.
It's really easy to find if you follow these directions. Subway stop Jongno 3, exit at 1. Walk straight (you will pass a McDonald's) until you get to the first street/alley. It is blocked to traffic. Turn right and you will pass a convenience store (i think it is 7-11). You will see an alley to your right (there are usually dirty pictures posted there) and hotel will be down the alley on your right.

Kinda Ghetto.
air conditioning worked well
5.7
the subway is a little bit of a hike to get to. the area is pretty boring. the rooms were a little crusty, although clean. there was no shampoo and conditioner provided. the internet stopped working and we wasted an hour of our last day in korea trying to get it fixed so we could video chat with our children as scheduled. what a waste.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
There's a movie theatre nearby.

Funky Korea At Best
good location, funny feeling
8
It's what we can call a funky Korea style in a miniature. This hotel is pop, with room that is equipped with 2 computers,a giant bathtub but not a cloth hanger.. most people check in don't really store their luggage heading to the skiing mountain really. But it is a fun feeling living here, with very friendly service personals, although poor in English, still very helpful. The surrounding is a mixture of what this area used to be and what it wants to be instead... just check up the signs of the hotels!
Restaurant Tip:
Korean BBQ opposite the alley where the hotel lies.

I stay with my family in this hotel. It's difficult to locate and the rooms were small. I were there in the early morning and tried to ask whether they can allow me for early check in. Initially the receptions said that all rooms were full however when I asked how much I need to pay to allow early check in , they replied 30,000 KWD . The air con in the room is centralize and I can't even switch on the heater despite its very cold.
