Superb Location. Just besides a street in Myeong-dong for shopaholics.
Free internet access. Basic amenities where you have to buy toothpaste and brushes. No bathtub for normal room. The hotel is located in a superb location besides a bustling shopping area. Premium shopping center Lotte are located directly opposite. They provide a free one-way shuttle to certain tourist attractions, once in the morning and afternoon. They have a common hotbath. Airport limousine to Inch Airport is just right outside the hotel with 20-30min interval.

Cleanliness, Best location, Nice staff The hotel is very clean, just what I had expected. Located in the best location, very convenient for shopping and eating. Hotel staff were very nice as well. I stayed in a Juior King Suit. The condition of the room is very new. The room is large enough for 3 people (but very cozy for 2 people). The view from the room is beautiful. I can see Seoul Tower at night. Overall, I would recommend Ibis Hotel Myeong Dong to everyone who are going to Seoul.
Shopping Tip : there is no need to shop where else. All what you need are just around the hotel area!

Airport Bus stops outside.
Had to travel up to 19th floor to do business with reception and then travel down again to exit the building. Could not book tours with information desk. The lifts were very busy. Staff were very friendly,helpful and efficient. The hotel was very close to the metro and downtown so getting about was easy. I tried breakfast and dinner buffets once in 5 days but are not good value for someone with a small appetite. However, a good range of different foods. Room was kept very clean with all mod cons except mini bar. There was limited information in the room about room service etc.
Hotel Feature Tip : Multi-functional toilets for the discerning customers.

this hotel is okay, but the room is way too small, location is nice, and please mind to everybody, i got taxi from incheon to here, and must pay around 150.000 WON, i think that the taxi driver is lied to me. my bad, i should take a bus from incheon to here. its direct to the hotel.
Hotel reception is nice like everybody said, and there's a wifi too, i would like to go to this htoel again next time.

Superb location, clean room Lobby is on 19th floor, room is small, no toiletries except for a small soap and shampoo/body gel on wall dispenser Ibis hotel is located in the heart of shopping paradise in Myeong-dong. Street vendors, malls and department stores are all within walking distance. You can take airport limo and for $9, they drop you off right in front of the hotel. Room interior could use a little updating, but all in all it is a good hotel. Great customer service too!

-Bathroom a bit small Pretty nice hotel all in all. Location is great, near subway and right on bus lines, right across the street from Lotte department store. Room was a bit wierd, smelled like chemicals, and some of the electrical outlets didn't work. The safe is also tucked away in a wierd place in the corner of the room in the closet. Bathroom a bit small but shower area is nice.
Staff is friendly, the ones in the upstairs lobby are very proficient in English and helped us find our way around. The downstairs staff could not communicate with us.
Good place to stay, quite easy to get transportation. Would stay here again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : You can book tours at the front desk, they pick you up in front of hotel next morning!

There is shuttle bus direct to the hotel. The staff is friendly. I stayed in junior suit, the room size is okay but the bath room still too small. It's free internet and pretty fast too. Breasfast is fine. I stayed there for 5 nights and I enjoyed staying there so much.
Shopping Tip : Only 2 mins walk to walkin street

location, price, cleaniness The hotel is situated in one of the main shopping areas in Seoul. Just take a stroll down to the areas nearby and you cna see a lot of shops for dining and shopping. It's one of the busiest places in seoul.

great location for shopping & transportation The IBIS Myeong-dong is centrally located and easily accessible from both Gimpo and Incheon airports. The rooms, however, are a bit small and cramped but I tend to spend little time in my hotel room so it worked out really well. There is a ton of great food right near the hotel - both restaurants and street vendors. The hotel is also really accomodating and the staff goes out of its way to help solve whatever issues you may have.

location was convenient, staff was polite room is stuffy and smells a bit we have requested to change our room as our non smoking room smells of cigarette smoke, it took the manager a while before he agrees to change. However as it was late in the evening around 11pm, decision could have been made sooner as guest has to rest. One breakfast was offer for compensation and room was changed at the end therefore outcome was satisfactory
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Right out side of Myeong dong, so plenty of restaurant and shops to choose from and open till late

The location was fantastic! Just one block crossed, we could go to Myon-dong shipping area.
The hotel is very clean and new. Unfortunetry, my room was smelling like medical thing?? I think it comes from dry-cleaning bed sheets? Myon-dong is the most popular and easy to enjoy korea for first visitors, I think. The hotel location, never lost the way to back hotel and if you tire to walk, we could take a rest and go again as soon as possible! Also, fron Inchon-Air port, we could use Limsin buss stop by infornt of Lotte Hotel. just walk a 5minutes, found the hotel. I like the hotel, I will use next trip.
Shopping Tip : There are lots of Korean-cosmetic shops in Myon-dong. It was very satisfied for me to shop them.

2) hotel rate offered at the hotel reception is less than what i booked through Agoda. my booking was also without breakfast, however their offer includes breakfast. this is was my third visit to Seoul, Korea. but it was the best. this is because i have stayed in Ibis Hotel at Meyong Dong. the hotel, staff, and the area was very nice.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : shopping area in the surrounding. Arabic resturant just down the hotel (Al-Saffron Restuarant).

good location, clean hotel, relatively good service the hotel is located at a very good location, in the middle of the best shopping area in Seoul. good for shopaholics! hotel room is clean too. service is relatively great. except there were no drinks and stuff for the bar but you can get them at vending machines on your floor level.
