super convenient location

friendly service nothing to complaint in view of the price We stayed there for 2 nights and found it an absolutely conveninet and functional hotel that was good fit for a compact shopping trip. Just cross the road is the popular departmental store featured with a duty free floor where you can buy nearly all cosmetic items. Turn around the corner one could reach the busy shopping streets of Myeondong. And most important at all, the airbus stop is just outside the hotel.....

good location for shopping Although the room is small, it is enough for a guest like me who just wanna go shopping in a walking distance. The room is clean and tidy. The staff is helpful and nice. Free internet access is provided in the room. Free hot bath and free 24 hours gym are provided too.

Great location; quiet, clean, comfortable rooms; high-speed internet; friendly and helpful staff; easy access to public transportation; walking distance to Seoul Tower, museums, palaces; in the center of great shopping and restaurants. Rooms are a bit on the small side My wife and I live and work in Cambodia. We had a short time to take a holiday and decided to go to South Korea on a whim. We were extremely glad we did. It was our first visit to Seoul. I found the Ibis Hotel on Agoda and chose it because of location and good reviews. We were very satisfied with the hotel for the reasons listed above. A bus from the Inchon airport picks up and drops off right in front of the Ibis. Because we only had 4 days in Seoul, we filled our days with sight-seeing at the many beautiful palaces and gardens, museums, shrines, etc. The Ibis is located in the center of Myeong-dong (business and shopping district). It's right across the street from a high-end shopping center called Lotte. But we never went inside a single shopping mall, because we were more interested in cultural and historical sights. The fall weather was great! We walked from the hotel on 2 separate mornings to the walking trail at the base of the Seoul Tower. We found many great places near the hotel to sample great Korean food. The hotel room was small, but clean and comfortable. The shower stall was well-arranged. We would definitely recommend staying here for the price we found on Agoda. We didn't eat at the hotel, so can't comment on food at Ibis.

Very good central location. Room is ok, although a bit on the small side. We were at 15th floor. Shower facilities are fine. Everything very clean.The hotel has also a nice Spa, free entrance. The hotel has a very good central location. From here you can reach most interesting tourist locations by feed, or with the subway directly in front of the hotel. There is also a airport bus stop directly in front of the hotel. The room is fine, although a bit on the small side and we had a view to the next high building. We were at 15th floor. Shower facilities are fine. Everything very clean.The hotel has also a nice Spa, free entrance. Nice view from the Spa. Also the gym is fine. I really recomend this hotel.
Restaurant Tip : There is a food court on the ground floor of the hotel and plenty of restaurants around.

This hotel is considered good given its price range and location in relation in Meyong-Dong. It is close to the subway and shopping areas. Hoewver, the bathroom is relatively small. For a guest of a larger body size, he or she might have probelms maneuver within the bathroom (much like a hotel in Japan's downtown area). The employees are very helpful, which is a plus.

good location, friendly receptionists, good facilities (hotbath n fitness center) Lobby is at the top of the building We stayed for 3 days... Our room got a nice view facing Shinsigae and Lotte Dept store which at night was very beautiful. The receptionist is very nice and helpful, we arrived at 7 o'clock in the morning, she recommended us to have a hot bath first because our room was not ready yet... The hotbath was realy enjoyable. The best part is this hotel is very conviniently located near places to eat ( Myeong-dong have lots of good restaurants), shop (Lotte, Myeong-dong and Shinsigae), and also Namdaemun is nearby.
Restaurant Tip : Starbucks is just the building next to the hotel, if you walk straight from starbucks , there are many restaurants there, anything to eat from katsu to samgeytang.Across the street at Lotte Dept store, there is a Lotteria which sell burgers in Korean style (should try it!! Mc Donald in Korean BBQ)

Ibis Myeong dng Hotel is GOOD. The location is perfect,only few minutes walking distance to reach. Staff speak good english, this is cool because most people cannot speak English in Korea. The airport limo is right next to the hotel entrance, so it is also very convenient. There are shopping mall, restaurants around this area, this is good for tourists. The room is nice and clean, althought a bit small but still ok. I would recomment to anyone staying in this hotel while travelling to Seoul.

The location is very convenient for shopping in Seoul, especially in Myeong Dong area. For ladies' shopping of skin care, cosmetics and clothes, they can shop and then carry back to hotel and continue shopping again easily.

Location. Clean. Decent breakfast. Quiet. This is a good business class hotel with many of the amenities you would expect and a reasonable price. The room is comfortable, quiet, and reasonably well appointed. The location of the hotel is very good, close to the subway stop 202, and near a lot of shopping.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Bus 6015 from the airport drops you right in front of the hotel. Avoid the overpriced, touristy eating places near the hotel; Insa-dong has better options.

The location is super. A lot of good restaurants around hotel. I like the filtered dringking water and Ice dispenser each level o hotel, quiet room and relatively clean hotel. A little bit tight spaces. Excellent value for the price. Super location and convenient to reach a lot of eating place, two major department stores. Easy access to subway. I was very pleased to stay this hotel.

coin laundary room The hotel is located at the prime location for tourists and business travellers. Closed to Euljiro station exit 6, myeongdong's hot spot, and right across Lotte departmenet store where you can buy food for your breakfast or night snack.
Shopping Tip : At Lotte Department store, go to B1F to buy foods around 7 pm, food packages and breads go on sale until the close time at 8 pm.
Go between the aisle between the hotel and Starbucks Coffee, walk one block, you will find a good bakery on the left at the corner.

Superb Location. Just besides a street in Myeong-dong for shopaholics.
Free internet access. Basic amenities where you have to buy toothpaste and brushes. No bathtub for normal room. The hotel is located in a superb location besides a bustling shopping area. Premium shopping center Lotte are located directly opposite. They provide a free one-way shuttle to certain tourist attractions, once in the morning and afternoon. They have a common hotbath. Airport limousine to Inch Airport is just right outside the hotel with 20-30min interval.
