Very nice lobby and room design
Good location, nice hotel design and staffs are kind

The hotel was easy to find and quite close to the metro station. The first thing attracted us was the wonderful lobby design. The staffs were welcoming and the check in process was efficient. The general cleanness of the room is acceptable, however, the corridor of each floor was a bit too dark. Basically, it was a very nice stay in the hotel and i would recommend it.

Great location in a young and hip area

ip boutique hotel is perfect for leisure travellers. located close to itaewon station and within easy access to many eateries and convenience stores nearby. highly recommended for those who are visiting seoul for the first time and slightly away from the hustle and bustle of myeongdong.
modern rooms are always clean and comfortable and staff are friendly and willing to assist. overall a great stay and highly recommended!

Cosy hotel
The design and decor of the room is amazing.

It is a little expensive, but the decorations in the rooms are a pleasant divergence from the usual hotel room. A iPod/iPhone dock is also provided for you to play your music as well as 4 sockets to charge your electronic devices. The toilet is only segregated from the room by a glass panel, so there is very little privacy when your room mate is bathing. Service is good, although some of the staff do not speak fluent English, so asking them questions would be a little inconvenient. In all, the room is of a comfortable size, although the hotel location is a 5 mins walk from the nearest subway Station, Itaewon.
Shopping Tip:
If you are staying at IP Boutique, be sure to check out the shopping streets along the main road at Itaewon during the day and the Nightclubs and Pubs in the adjacent streets behind Hamilton Hotel at night.

the hotel located near the subway station. It only takes 5 minutes to walk from subway to hotel. There are many creative display in the lobby. Staff are helpful and polite.
The corridor outside the room was just so dark. The light was so dim that i felt little scary...but the room inside has plenty of light. the bed was so comfy and everything were clean.

Great Location but not not so helpful services

I travel with 2 other friends and stayed in a deluxe room with 3 beds. We arrived in the early morning at 9am, despite requested early check in, we had to wait for 3 hours before we stepped into our room. The location was excellent, as Itaewon is not far to Mydeong nor Gangnam. However, the bus was not located outside the hotel which was out of expectation.
We inquired the reception which bus will go to Mydeong or what kind of public transportation would best suit us. The receptionist only asked us to travel via subway without giving any thought or providing any map, the service was not very helpful. Luckily there is tourist info centre at Itaewon, we had all the info we needed there. The guide was very nice and explained in details!
Last tip to advise, please bring your own tooth brush, as the hotel charges it...

Nice location, lame sound isloation

greatly located in the diverse street of itaewon, close to the mosque and has its own name on a bus stop in front of the hotel.
the design is nice, and the rooms are clean. the sound is not isolated well, you can hear your neighbors when they talk a bit loud.
the corridors are weirdly dim, but that's not an issue.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
T-Money can be obtained from 7-Eleven in the Airport, charge it with 50,000 Won. You can pay the underground, bus & taxi using it.
SIM card OR Phone rental can be done in the airport ONLY.
Korean translation app is very helpful.

Good location but pricy

Eaxch day as we went out for another adventure the staff would give us some advice-notes in Korean for the cabs to get to and from our selected selected area of travel
Very good AEnglish
hallways very dark but worse the rooms with white walls and mirrors didn't give enough light to read

Roomy and clean

Stayed there for 4 nights in Itaewon and the location of the hotel is on the main street, walking distance to many restuarants, bars and clubs. Nice tourist place day and night to enjoy the different street scenery. Transport getting to and from airport is relatively easy by taking 45-60 minute coach ride, with the bus stop near the hotel. Transportation to the rest of the city like Gangnam, Myeundong and Dongdaemon, is within 15-20 minutes by taxi which costs less than. There is a train station nearby the hotel as well. The hotel staff is polite and helpful. Overall value for money.
