Only bad thing is a small room

Had to change our room as bathroom had no hot water. Staff was accommodating even we made the change in the middle of the night. Other than that all is good.

I stayed at the guesthouse for 11 days. Overall it was a very pleasant stay. For being a hostel, the rooms and facilities
Were very clean, the staff,staff are extremely attentive to you any time of the day
(Meaning 24/7) you need their assistance for extra towels, blankets etc.
I will split up my review into 3 different categories.
1. Location
2. The hostel/room
3. The staff
1. Great location.
The Lavania Guesthouse is located in the heart of Seoul. It is extremely close to Anguk( exit 4) train Station. It is about
a 5 minute walk to the hotel. From that station you can go anywhere in Seoul.
It is also in the center of Insadong with lots of shopping, restaurants and cafes.
It is about a 5 to 8 minute walk to a place called Ssamziegil. This place is full of novelty shops, cafes and it is a great place to get souvenirs.
Right outside the Ssamziegil is a long street full of tons of restaurants, cafes, and street food carts. You can find your way wandering through lots of streets to all different restaurants.
If you’re in the mood for shopping, if you follow the road from Ssamiziegil, you will find yourself in an extremely crowded intersection with the street flooded with shops. There are a lot of 24 hour cafes where you can wind down after your day of shopping by sipping on a hot coffee or tea with a small bite to eat.
The street that Lavania is a bit off the beaten path but it is extremely quiet and located near lots of attractions.
2. The hostel/room
I stayed in a twin room. The room was a good size for 2 people. There is AC/heat controlled by a panel on the wall. The floors are heated which was good since it was a bit chilly when we stayed in Seoul. The beds were comfortable. The room came with cable TV with tons of channels and a fridge.(review continued on next post)

From the Incheon International Airprt to Lavinia
Bus: Fare 10000 KRW, 1hour 10minutes
Take No 6011 at the bus stop 5B or 12A. Get off at 'Changdeokgung bus stop. Walk toward 20meters and take the right turn to the alley at “Standard Chartered Bank” sign on your right side. Walk straight 100meters. Lavinia is on your front. Come into the building, take the elevator, come up to the 6th floor
