- Neatness of Over all Hotel
- Service to assist us for any need was good
- Very fresh atmosphere
- Restaurant Cum Bar at Basement was lovely
- Language was the biggest problem.
- At times they couldn't understood what we wanted. Sorry for that.
- The first impression was excellent and it did last till end of our stay as far as neatness and fresh look is concerned.
what I feel was missing in terms if service was, the basic english understanding,although most of the crew were well understanding , few of them were not able to go beyond a partcular point of explanation.
The drinking water (1 small Mineral Water) per day as free is too less and I feel at least this should have been adequate.
Similarly in many hotels, there is a trend of offering a small tray with some nice fresh cookies or with a basket of fruits. That was missing and the servcie though was impressive looked too monotonous.
despite of all the above ( please take that as area of improvement), over all stay still can be rated as very comfortable and satisfying. Out of our bussy schedule we could go for live "Orchestra " and it was really nice to hear some nice mix of western classicals and pop there.
Given a choice, I would certainly like to stay at Hotel Novotel Amassador but in Kangnum only due to one reason that is , the surrounding of Kangnum , I personally found much better.All the more reason as , near Kangnum area we found some Indian food joints that's missing near Doksan area.
Restaurant Tip : Don't forget to go the basement Bar and hear the Live Orchestra, also food was very tasty so do try some dishes of your choices.

Conveniently located near some of the high tech areas of Soeul.
Reasonably priced hotel with good dining. Other than being near the Digital Centers, it seems to be in the middle of no where. The rooms were a bit small and the TV's were the old CRT ones. I stayed in the Novotel Doksan one Sunday night and left the next day after my business meeting. The rooms were small, but clean, as was the bathroom. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. I ate a meal of Korean BBQ in the Korean restaurant downstairs in the evening and it was fine, although it seemed to be vastly understaffed at the time. Likewise for the pub which was attached to the hotel. There was a scarcity of staff there. The fitness center was good, with lots of treadmills and stationary bicycles for cardio workouts. You have to be used to Korean saunas to navigate to the sauna.
Hotel Feature Tip : The fitness center supplies you with T-Shirt and shorts and socks. You get them inside the change areas in the sauna. There is also an indoor golf driving range.

Location is not good and need to walk for 15 minutes from subway. Also, it looks closer to international airport, but needs to take bus for 1 1/2 hours. The environment is pretty bad. You will pass pork meat market and smells bad. It's better to stay in the center of Seoul instead this far location.
