PROVISTA Hotel, Seoul

I spent 6 nights at the Hotel Provista in October 2009 and I would probably return there next time. The location is very good, with 2 metro lines and the Limousine Bus to Incheon Airport at 3 minutes walk from the hotel. Rooms are large and clean. The washing machine and the kitchenette are a good asset (although both laundry and food are very cheap in Korea). Although the room was large there was no comfortable place to sit and work (the table was occupied by a large and old TV set and the chair is low and the chair was too low for the table). Also, I was a bit disappointed by the lack of wifi and the rather slow (but free) internet connection. Over alll, a positive experience.

Although i knew the staff spoke english, my Korean wife helped get the message across a lot quicker than i would normally. Anyways, about the room- very nice. There is a lot of storage space. So many compartments, and cupboards to store clothes, bags, small things, even shelves for documents, photos of loved ones at home, or little 'nick nacks' that you want quick and easy access to when you wanna quickly run out the door. It gave the room so much more space to move. Beds were very comfortable, as was the mattress in the upstairs loft. This is the first hotel i've visited that had this feature. it was nice to sleep upstairs in solitude. The gym is very exceptional. Not just a simple treadmill, but it has a lot of equipment, and is very spacious. The room is very clean and impressive. The TV is not anything to brag about, i do not think anyone would travel to a foreign country, and rent a room for the purposes of watching TV. So it didnt bother me at all. The kitchen was very cool useful. My wife and i had a meal on the first night there and that was fun to share a meal on our own, cooked by ourselves. They also had a washing machine in the room. For travelers, this becomes very useful. The room also had a full size fridge and freezer too. to store some BASKIN ROBINS perhaps...? (thats ice-cream) The fact that there was a Subway nearby helped out a lot. From the subway, you can go almost anywhere in Seoul inc. the airport. We also had lunch at OUTBACK just underneath the Hotel. Its worth your money at lunch, but quite expensive in the dinner time. Its an Australian Restaurant and it was nice to have a break from the Asian cuisine and have a taste of 'west'. If it weren't for the discounted prices that Agoda offered i probably would never have considered this Hotel as my wife and I were on tight budgets, but we loved it here. My stay here was very pleasant! thank you for you services Provista.

Very comfortable and well-located hotel. I would recommend this and stay there again. My husband and I stayed for 4 nights and we loved the space in the room, the cleanliness and the location near Gangnam. The Agoda rate was reasonable and the service good.
