Centrally located hotel with Great room

We took a limousine bus that cost us 15,000won each and took us about 1hour to reach right infront of Ramada Hotel.We came too early so we lodged our bag to the concierge & walked around.When we were given our room, we were very flattered with the humongous quad room given to us and loved the warm and cosy bed.The parquet flooring was heated, suited for the winter climate.Our bottled drinks and tea/coffee were replenished everyday and toilet would be cleaned only if you asked for. Overall, we are happy as it was just a distant to Namdaemun, the palace and subway.Taxi was easy to get as it's always ready in front of the hotel.
Shopping Tip:
Ramada hotel is about 15-20minutes walk to Namdaemun.Subway is also quite a distance to walk but it's great to walk about in the wintry weather tho...the hotel staff were friendly, approachable and very helpful.We will certainly stay here again!

Very big room and smile service

The hotel is located aroud Seoul Station, you can walk by 10 mins. I booked for superior room but i got very big room. There are one king size bed, one single bed, sofa and cooking area ( with cooking stuffs ). The bathroom also big, they seperate dry and wet space. The service is really nice, they are always smile. Many foreigners stay here.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The hotel is pretty close to Seoul Station. So, you can connect to the subway to get many places in Seoul or get the KTX to go to other city such as Busan easily.

the lady at the reception area treated us to an earlier check in. we arrived much earlier than prescribed check in time following an early flight. i was told check in time should be at 2 pm but since we were feeling sleepy from the early flight, she told me we can pay extra if we wish to check in earlier. because we wanted to rest, i agreed to the proposal, only to find out the room will not be ready as promised. because of this situation, the lady just offered us to check in earlier without additional charges. i believe this is a good customer service practice on the part of the lady in the check in counter.
i also find the concierge person helpful. i asked for restaurants around and he willingly told me different options.
Shopping Tip:
this hotel is just about 20 minutes walk to the center of the shopping area of myeong dong. its a good walk to the best shops there is no need to ride a taxi, if you are not in a hurry. as we traveled late november, it was already too cold you need to be prepared with your winter clothes. along the way, you will pass by namdaemun market.

The hotel staff is very helpful. They guided me clearly the direction I wanted to go. They can speak good English too. Hotel located within walking distance to restaurant and subway (City Hall station). If you like walking, try to walk from Ramada to Deoksugung Palace.

Lovely hotel with good price and convenient location. 15-20mins Walking distance to Namdaemun and Myeong-dong if not keen in noise of these tourist locations. Convenience stores and cafe in vicinity for emergency buys.
However, even with Korean name and address, airport cabbie had problem locating hotel within many highrise without proper hotel signage.
Room size is small but well equipped. Bath shower with only shower curtain prone to making bathroom wet especially vanity area.
Could do with free in-room WiFi in a Seoul supposedly most connected city in the world. However, free WiFi available in lobby with good sofa sitting but frequently full with people on Facetime etc...
would recommend this hotel to both business or holiday travellers.
Shopping Tip:
around 15mins Walking distance to Namdaemun market and Myeong-dong shopping district, depending on short-cuts taken (between high-rise). Best head towards Namdaemun market which is adjacent to Myeong-dong. Same time needed if take subway so enjoy Seoul whilst walking and same subway fee.

The only drawback is that there is no free wifi in the hotel. But since it's cheap to rent a pocket wifi with S-roaming at the airport for about US$ per day for unlimited access for 3 devices, I can live with a room without wifi.
