It was good. Two friends and I stayed here for two night during the weekend while we went to a music festival at Olympic stadium. Over priced for what you get. Unless you are interested in going to the two major clubs across the street, this place is off the beaten path a bit as there is nothing else really within walking distance. The nearest train stop is also a hike away to, so plan on taking cabs most of the time. Cabs are really cheap in Seoul, so this was not a huge problem.

Friendly service and nice room in Gangnam
right on a gangnam main street, just down from the coex mall and good in-house spa services.

Only stayed for one night but received excellent service in the form of dining recommendations, directions to local night life, and 90 min massage from in house spa. Also, a reasonable rate for the location.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Short walk from nearest Subway station, 1 block south of hotel.

Clean and nice rooms, but sizes of the rooms and double bed are small.
Much better if free breakfast is provided.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Quite far away from major shopping and tourist districts.
Not many good restaurants nearby.

Comfortable hotel but with small rooms
The facility of the restroom is good.

I like the facility of the restroom in the rooms. Besides, the rooms have large TV with HD. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel is good though not near to the popular shopping zones like Myeongdong. It is very convenient if one take the airport limousine to the hotel. The hotel staff are nice and helpful.

Fun location, clean hotel
good location for nightlife and shopping, hotel felt secure, and the room was very clean!

riviera hotel is a solid hotel. the hotel is a bit outdated, but it was very clean and felt very safe and secure. our room was quite small though. the location is in an area currently known for good nightlife, shopping, and restaurants (although pricey). there are a number of restaurants, coffee shops, etc. near the hotel, definitely walkable. note that if you stay here, you are basically limited to taking taxis because the nearest subway stations are all far from the hotel. nice, solid hotel!

Fantastic hotel
Good service, clean rooms, new facilities

This is a real fantastic hotel, good service, clean & big rooms, new facilities. We can see the Hangjiang river in our both rooms. But this hotel is located in businees area, it may be a little far away from shopping area such as Dongdamen or mingdong. We have 4 friends together, so it is cheap to take the taxi for us. only 10000 from our hotel to shopping area. By the way, I like the soap and shampoo, which are supplied by hotel. Good.

a clean and good hotel
clean, staff are courteous.

transportation is very convenient, airport limousine drop you in front of the hotel and pick you up again to the airport. hotel is famous, all taxi driver knows this hotel. for our shopping client, its a bit far from those famous shopping area like myeongdong, dongdaemun and namdaemun. otherwise, everything is ok, except the breakfast need improvement.

My Korea experience
Tha amenities of the hotel was very good. The staff were all polite and they were always smiling. It was also well maintained.

Overall experience was good. The hotel staff was good and they were very accomodating. The room ammenities were above standard. The only thing I didnt like was the location because it was far from shopping malls and restaurants. Their breakfast buffet needs improvement also.
