Comfortable hotel in an awesome area
English speaking staff, at a comfortable hotel centrally located in hongdae - perfect for shopping / cafes / nightlife and access to the subway.

This hotel was comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly, and had a very high level of English.
Whenever we travel to Seoul, Hongdae is our preferred area to stay in. It's got an artsy vibe, with awesome shopping (both international stores, and wee boutiques), cute cafes, restaurants, and is one of the top districts for nightclubs, bars and dancing - as it's located near a university. However, this hotel is super quiet, despite it's amazing location only minutes away from everything It's an easy (flat) 2 minute walk to the subway, where you can link up to all the main attractions in Seoul.
We stayed at this hotel because our regular hotel was booked up due to a long weekend. We got a 50% off deal for Seokyo Hotel - and I'm glad we did. I don't think the hotel is worth the full price that was stated on the page, but for half price it was fine. If we got another half price deal we would stay here again, however, at full price, we will be heading back to our regular spot.
