Great value - fantastic staff!

Overall I would give this hotel 5 out of 5 stars.
Studio 41st exceeded all expectations! The twin room we had was filled with every things you would want:
* Full kitchen: fridge, sink, stove, filtered water machine
* TV with computer! It is so nice having wifi in the room and your own computer to easily stay in touch with people back home.
* Large room with small dining table.
The staff went above and beyond to help us navigate the city and answer any questions we had. The hostel might be a little hard for taxi drivers to find, but they have written directions on their website (so print that out ahead of time!) or they are 1 block away from a restaurant that every taxi driver seems to know. Having a free breakfast every morning was a definite perk also.

Will definitely come back to Studio 41st on my next visit.
You may get a better hotel elsewhere but you can never get the same attentiveness and helpfulness from the hotel staff like what Studio 41st provide.

very recommended hotel!
The rooms comes with kitchenette, washing machine, hot/cold water dispenser and towels. The staff were very friendly anf helpful. We had very nice stay and definitely will come again.

although the location is not as close as expected, take around 5-10 mins walk from hongik station, i am mostly inpressed by the staff and the atmosphere of the hostel. everyone is just super friendly and helpful.they gave very quick responses to all the enquiries about the city and everythg. i had this experience that i want to reserve the tickets for the show nanta and miso, they helped me to have tickets reserved within minutes, such that i could watch the show on the same day.
as for atmosphere, its clean , tidy and cozy. i enjoyed it a lot to have breakfast at the common room!:) the area is safe and quiet yet could be very happening on the university side. so in case you are looking for some night life at the university area, this is still convenient!
would definately come back when i visit korea again!amazing people!!!

we arrived on a morning cold and hungry. the staff was kind enough to invite us for breakfast though we were not entitled. they were very friendly and provided all the information that we need to know about the area. the best part about the room was that the lock was the electronic type and reduced the hassle of us having to carry a key around and worrying about losing it. overall the room was clean and spacious and well heated! there were also many coffee places near the hotel which is a plus.

Studio 41st Residence is a small but warm and comfortable hostel. Though we reached there at about 8am in the morning after a very tired over-night flight, 6 hours earlier than the check-in time, the hotel manager still allowed us to check in early and even let us have breadfrest which should otherwise be not included, or we had to wait outside at -4 degree C temperature. Located at local residential area, the hostel is quiet without too much distrubing from many other tourists like other big hotels. 10 min-walk from subway station was not easy for us in such extremely cold weather, in particularly that there was no pavement and the snow had become slippery ice after pressing by the cars. Generally speaking, the hostel is nice and worth to stay.

This is by far the best hostel we have ever lived.
All of us (3 girls)enjoyed our stay there. the cloth hanger is our first surprise once we get in the room. The staff are very friendly, and they let us choose our room and there are spare rooms!!! the washing machine and kitchen are vital to us as we had a long stay in Korea. Shower is well-functioning. Breakfast is good. the overall atmosphere is warm.
the map from hostel is very useful, take one when you live there.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Must go Ewha university to buy cosmetics/clothes.
Sinsha and Gangnam are great places for nightlife.

The people behind Studio 41st were very helpful, even before we arrive. Upon arrival, we managed to get our room earlier which was great as we had an overnight flight. The rooms were clean and have everything we needed and more. A coat hanger, a computer that double up as a TV, kitchenette, refrigerator, ensuite bathroom, laundry hanger, table for eating, and pots & plates & utensils. It was really a cosy and homely feeling.
Breakfast spread was great, miss the ham and it is a good time to mingle and get to know the others staying in other rooms. The managers on duty were superb - friendly and so very helpful! Will love to stay there again, but one down side is the long walk from the MRT station to the hostel. Took us about 12 mins each time.
