Great Hotel with nice room services

it has been a pleasure to have stayed in the classic 500. it basically have hospitality and advanced technology all wrapped up as one perfect suite. as i have young toddlers travelling with me, usually we find it hard to calm down the kids. but since this hotel is so user-friendly, and considerate in its room designs, it tends to be more of a easier task to keep the crazy kids under control. we can finally have them go to the toilet by themselves, since everything is automatic. plus they won't fuss about when they finish showering because the heating was sufficient and the cold weather in seoul won't get us in the room.

the rooms that my family and i were staying in are excellent! the food the hotel provides is also amazing. the thing which i appreciate is that the hotel is extremely considerate to have a convenience store located right inside the hotel, and as i went to seoul in december, it was extremely cold, something like -10 degress celcius, and sometimes i would want to grab some food or drink in the middle of the night. the convenience store is especially convenient at times like that! and i really appreciate the hotel for having stores like this! the rooms are immaculately wonderful. we couldn't have asked for more.

Great rooms + great location
the rooms are amazing, i mean who has a washing machine in their hotel rooms? plus knowing the fact that my beloved girls' generation and super junior are just round the corner, that brings a genuine smile to my face *creeeepy*.

i have to say, this is probably the best hotel that i have ever came across in seoul. for starters, it is definitely family-friendly. the washing machines, the compact tv in the loo, the fridge, the appliance that kills germs (my english is slacking, unfortunately), it made you feel at home. the view was also amazing, so amazing that it distracted me from watching the mnet channel. sidenote, if you happen to be a kpop lover, or a kpopper, you would be over the top with happiness. when i knew that i would be staying in a hotel right next to the dormitary where snsd aka girls' generation and super junior are staying, i can't even.....! the service was okay i guess, though nothing that was exceptionally well-done as far as i could tell, saw a cute bellboy though...lol girls go for it! okay i probably should stop my rambling. i totally recomend this to anyone who is looking for a hotel that will have you crying when you leave seoul ;) it's truly wonderful!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
...and if you happen to be a vip, you might want to check out seven's chicken restaurant. you will spazz till you bleed to death when you see all those autographed photos. also, check out the noraebangs (the karaoke bars) in s.korea, they are really special and i'm sure you guys will have fun!

The moment we stepped into the room, we went wow!
We booked the 2-room suite, it's so spacious with 2 double beds and 1 single beds enough for our family of 5; in fact the sofa in the living can also be converted into a large sofa bed for another adult. Beds are very comfortable and floors are heated. With all the modern fittings (washer/dryer, heated toilet seats, LCD TVs everywhere). Th location is great with nearby subway station and departmental store (Lotte). This is indeed the best hotel I've ever stayed, and surprisingly the rates are lower than many branded hotels in the city!

Best hotel i ever stay - well equiped, new & clean
Very spacious & clean, highly automated, very convenient as Lotte Departmental store is just next door... feel more like home than a hotel, definitely an enjoyable stay we had...

I booked one unit of suite (i will rather call it a one bedroom apartment) for myself, my husband & my 10 months old baby. We stayed at this serviced apartment from 2-6 Nov 2012 (5D4N). I was given suite at 10th floor, lovely viewed Konkuk Medical University. The suite is spacious, with big living hall, open kitchen facing living hall, big room with big walk in wardrobe (lots of storage space) connecting to the bathroom. Bathroom is well equipped with heater, rain shower and the fully automated bidet, with seat warmer, multiple water features and dryer. Love it very much! I do some cooking for my baby, kitchen is clean but no washing detergent is given. 2 minutes walk to next door Lotte Departmental Store where fresh vegie & fruits easily found. 7-elevan just located at Level B1 at main tower, no need to cross to opposite road for 7-11. Coffee Bean & Starbucks just at door steps, very convenient. Subway station is just few minutes walk from the hotel, taxi is easily reached. It takes around 20 minutes to reach Myeongdong & Seoul Tower, The front desk staffs are very friendly and helpful, at least one of them can speak English therefore is a very pleasant experience we have throughout our stay there. I'll definitely recommend to others and i'll definitely stay at this hotel again if i go back to Seoul again!

The rooms are well planned for older guests and families -plenty of space and conveniences such as smart home system, washing machines, auto lighting. One drawback is that it is not a fully equipped kitchen which makes cooking and washing up a bit of a problem. We ended up buying dishwashing detergent etc.. Having said that,the location is fantastic - close to the station, loads of restaurants, and if you like cook, the e-mart downstairs has everything you will need. Another great advantage is that the airport bus is literally across the road, costing 10,000 won a passenger (8,000 fr children).
the staff are very friendly and helpful, with at least one member speaking English each time we approached the front desk for advice and information.

we stayed at the classic 500 serviced apartment from 1 sep to 12 sep 2012. we had 2 very young children, 1 years old and 2 years old, and i was pleasantly suprised by the space of the rooms. our apartment was at least 125 sqm with a very generous bathroom (more about the bathroom!). we stayed on the 11th floor and had district views which were lovely at night.
our whole stay was fabulous! the space meant the kids could play and crawl around the rooms safely. everything was modern and very well maintained. the beds were firm and very comfortable and every thing worked! nothing was broken or damaged.
the kitchen and laundry were well utilised and i just needed to ask for extra cutlery and glassware when we had guests over. we had a kimchi fridge as well as a large fridge/freezer so there was plenty of room for fresh fruit and vegies, as well as drinks.
the room and furniture was very well laid out so every space was utilised with lots of storage space.
the baby cots were almost new and very clean. housekeeping was discreet and did a fantastic job each day. they didn't mind taking the dirty nappy garbage.
our bathroom was spacious with a rain shower and lots of storage room. the best thing about it? the bidet! this was fully automated with seat warmer, multiple water features and dryer. i was reluctant to use it at first, but then try it once and you're hooked! oh, and there's a tv in the bathroom as well.
we eat at the buffet restaurant and the food and service was outstanding.
the serviced apartment is next to a shopping centre and department store so it was very convenient for us. the train station was 200 metres away so we took the train to do some sightseeing. there are plenty of shops just outside as well and it really comes alive at night.
we plan to go back to seoul and we'll be staying at the classic 500 again.
