The Hotel is located very close to the subway system and to the Seoul Tower - and the park surrounding the was a lovely walk. Room was excellent with a lovely view. The restaurants were excellent but rather expensive.

From the moment you step out of your vehicle at Shilla to the minute you leave the place, I'm very sure that you will be impressed with the steps taken throughout the journey.
Most staffs can speak excellent english which is a plus point for me as i'm not korean. They are very willing to help and provide you with the best service to ensure that your stay there is enjoyable. Awesome hotel. I will definitely be back.
Shopping Tip:
Plenty of Shopping below the hotel and outside on the right at SHILLA DUTY FREE. Do check it out.

Prestigeous Hotel at a prime location in Seoul
Great Location, Great Service, Great Room (deluxe and above level)

I stayed at the Shila for 4 days and the location and the facilities the Hotel offered were nothing less than excellent experience.
The deluxe room was very large (although they can be updated as the hotel itself has been there for such a long time) and clean. The restaurants in the hotel offered top-notch food in quality and in services.

The room was okay, the bed was great. bathroom was okay but the bathtub was small. the shower facilities was poor as the showerhead was old and didnt give a soothing waterspread.
The staff are not allowed to receive any tip-money.
They provide you with 2 bottles of water for free.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Bring your passport and ask the taxi driver to take you all the way up to Seoul tower. important to bring your passport as only foreigners are allowed to be taken all the way up to the tower by taxi.

Hotel is very conveniently located to most of the major attractions.

we stayed here for 3 nights and the staffs are really friendly and professional. it would be nicer if the hotel would let us know in advance that they are going under renovation before we arrived. the location of the hotel is great but sometimes it can be hard to catch a taxi. we loved the duty free shop next to the hotel with major brands and local selections.

Location of the hotel was great, situated near the two popular open market and the room was lovely but it's abit overrated. I arrived quite early and the counter staff was very nice to let me check in early. The food in the hotel is very expensive.

a very good stay overall as the hotel is at the center of seoul so it is convinient to explore the city. full failities available at the hotel. shuttle bus is available for myeongdong and dongdaemon for shopping and sightseeing. the only thing they can improove is to have free wi fi in every room.

Restaurant Tip:
the breakfast for the executive Grand Deluxe is serve at the lounge of executive floor, should be way better for the ground floor one.
