The sights around Sigiriya are great.
- Hotel Feature Tip : Almost everyone who visits Sri Lanka is subjected to credit card fraud. Keep an eye on your accounts and be ready to see that someone in Sri Lanka has just gone a spending spree with your card. I am not sure which hotel used my card, but it was a hotel charge.

For us who have travelled worldwide the hotel was not one we would chose again as it had no ambience and the restaurant and service very average. Good place to visit but not to stay.
