Couples Austria, December 28, 2012	very nice hotel with some little problems very quite - no peoples around 7.7 The Hotel is pretty small, only 10 rooms and actually there was only 4 rooms booked on our periode, even in the high season. You need always a tuk tuk or taxi to go somewhere, but pls take care of the tuk tuk drivers, from the hotel, which want to show you something. Go for you own one. Ask for the business card and the hotel should call it for you. The hotels tuk tuk driver is always going with you to the sightseeing or attraction points, like boat safari, turtle farm and is driving the price up to 3 or even 4 times higher and then complaining that this is a local price. If you negotiate without him, despite he didn't call them before with his Mobil, you will get much lower prices. Despite all of this betrayal the beach-pool man was very very kind and as well the chef and main waiter. The food was not so our taste - it was not bad but not 100 usd worth fir the Christmas dinner per person. The life music was nice but you will get better food around. No annoying beach boys! That was great.

Families with young children India, October 22, 2012	Lovely hotel but small in size Personalized food service 9 Hotel stay was really comfortable, Rooms were quite spacious and comfortable, view of pool and sea was amazing from the room balcony. This hotel is having only 10 rooms and hence was not lively. Further due to rains we looked for some indoor recreational facility which were not available. Hotel staff was courteous and kept the services above expectation.
Mukesh G. Families with young children India, October 22, 2012	Exclusive location, excellent service. Guest service and customized food :) 9.3 This is a 10 room resort and all the rooms face the sea. This is on the west coast of Sri Lanka and so you get to see the cool sunset from the comfort of your room, though I recommend to be on the beach for the real view. There are no activities in the hotel, except for a very nice swimming pool. So if you have young restless kids, then avoid this hotel. But if like peace and serenity to be part of your vacations then this is a sure place. The rooms are amazingly decorated and big in size. The bathroom is a highlight, perfect place for romance. Open bathroom concept, with a beautiful round tub. Don't worry for privacy, you can always use the curtains, if you need to :) The staff and especially the chef was very key in making the stay a success but getting us great food of our choice. We being vegetarians, food could have been a challenge. But the manager and the chef ensured that we had good food everyday, customised to our taste and liking and out of their regular menu. Thanks to them for being such good hosts. The beach in front of the hotel is clean, nice and peaceful but the sand is very coarse. The morning walk is peaceful and calm. Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Limited water sports are available in Bentota. Go down south by another 20 kms for excellent beaches, peaceful and calm sea. Perfect for lazing and swimming. Another few Kms down south you can enroll for a snorkling or diving course. Don't miss to visit Galle. I would recommend to stay down south of Bentota if you want to engage in snorkling and diving and even for lazing on the clean beach. Bentota is good for peaceful holidays and relaxing.
