Location. Great Breakfast (Restaurant). The bar and pub are very lively. Has a bank accross the street open 7 days a week. Service.

The room's furniture is kind of outdated.

The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Colombo. The main benefit that it is outside of the Military controlled area. This place is considered as the best and many local high class family do their wedding there. It was full of weddings that weekend. The breakfast was outstanding (exceeded expectations). The bar and Pub had many people which was good. The only negative is that they gave us a room in the old wing of the hotel, so the furniture, bathroon, etc was outdated. The other wing seemed very new, even though I was not able to see the rooms inside. Overall, I would recommend anyone to stay in this hotel. It is well known by everyone.

Restaurant Tip : The buffet at the Hilton is really good for dinner.

Location; right next to a shopping mall, and near to Galle Face; Lobby bar with live music and exceptionally friendly staff.

Deteriorating housekeeping standards; turning off water all night for maintenance; dirty restaurant floor.

I have stayed at this hotel many times and previously have been very impressed; it has been called the best hotel in Colombo and its general appearance would endorse that view. But standards seem to be slipping each time I come, especially on the housekeeping front. This time the towels were not changed, the turn down service never materialised, and toiletries were not replaced. In the main restaurant, stale food lying on the floor (possibly from the night before) was not taken at all seriously. It is a shame because it did not used to be like this. Prices have increased and standards have gone down.

Nightlife Tip : Live music in the lobby area until 2.30 a.m. on Saturday nights is well worth staying up for.

Near banks, shopping malls and eating places.

Other than the price, the rooms needed upgrading as it's getting a little worn out especially in the new wing.

Can be considered for the good location, hopefully they can review their price which is a little stiff.
