1) Swimming pool/fitness centre is not within hotel itself. You need to cross the road via a overhead bridge to exercise.
2) Breakfast area is a bit small imho.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Beware of "passerby" who suggest you that you should check out a certain temple or place. Even if that person claims he is a staff of a hotel. These are scammers/trickster who works with a Tutu driver who then drives you around and then charge you absurd rates.

A hotel with great location but it is overpriced.
Centrally located, full facilities, good foods but disappointed poorly maintained.

Not staying here for many years (>8 years). Now decided to return back to this hotel. Surprisingly, there is no renovation despite expensive rate. The carpet was dirty. Lobby is full of mosquito. Thank you to extend my late check out to 6:00pm that allow me to refresh before boarding the plane.

hilton is one of the older hotels compared to cinnamon grand and cinnamon lakeside which i have stayed previously. though it may look like it has passed its prime,it is still relatively well maintained. the duty manager was helpful in arranging an early check-in. front office staff were friendly and approachable. housekeeping staff went beyond their call of duty in folding and neatly arranging unkempt clothes left lying on the bed; and also arranging neatly our own personal toiletries. breakfast buffet is so-so with a mix of western, sri lankan and indian food. menu could be changed every two or three days as we had the same breakfast for four consecutive days.swimming pool and gym is located away from the hotel block and you need to cross a pedestrian overhead bridge to reach these facilities. overall, it's an enjoyable stay, worth the money you paid for and i would recommend this hotel to other travellers.
Restaurant Tip:
It's not worth to try the Chinese food, go for the Indian, French or Italian cuisine

lovely hotel, amazing service

arrived late, from the moment i checked in till departure, the staff were all incredibly helpful, kindest hotel service i have encountered in a long time. the hotel itself is old, and outshone by several other newer hotels close by, it's definitely in a timewarp as to look and amenities, but this is easily made up for by it's service. good location, very central for business meetings
