bad housekeeping and service The room at Hilton was very much ordinary with old cots and was surprised to see the floor towels and hand towels not replaced after making my room. Even the bathroom accessories were so restricted and a full time traveler feels for it. Hope they know they have a brand to live with.

Location is not nice, there is no shopping complex or something to see. As business, this is great hotel.
But I can not recommend for sightseeing

My room was what i expetected of a Hilton Hotel. High class decoration, clean and friendly staff. I really want to recommend this Hotel for the first two days to be acclimated to the country. Swimming pool is ok and large enough. Sea is about 5 minutes walk.
Travel tip : Police and army are around the three big international hotels. This means that all cars will be checked by looking under the car. It did give me a sense of relief that in this area nothing could go wrong, but that I had to also be on alert.

Book online as you will always get a better rate. That seemed to be the case in all larger Hotels in Sri Lanka
Travel tip : Must try the Curry Leaf Restaurant. Best to book. A la Carte available.
