The hotel n bedrooms looks very old and run down
I can't think of any. For that price more than nearby, I would rather choose that's new and cosy. Only good thing is the Food City is across the road.

adequate, clean. everything worked. night club didn't bother anyone.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Food City supermarket opposite. Others commented about rooms with no windows. There are some, but just ask at the desk, they should be able to move you.

Great location, very central but very basic.

nothing seemed to work in the room-the TV, the aircon and the telephone. very prompt at trying to fix the problems but they kept happening making the stay very unpleasant especially no air con at night!
No wifi in the room.
Shopping Tip:
World market is fun to see a diff. side of Colombo and take great photos of daily life!

Mouldy rooms, inattentive staff, few features
The rooms are huge, with a balcony and a decent shower.

A regretful little stay we had, I developed some kind of a rash from the bedding, which lasted days. The staff were not rude, but very lazy.
I don't like to be so negative but this particular hotel was totally unworthy of the cost(and I thought it was fairly cheap before I arrived, I soon found out why).
The nightclub was pretty dirty and lacked class. We ended up moving to another nightclub a few doors down which was much better, but extremely expensive.
The location is mediocre, being slightly out towards the edge of Colombo and far from the many urban attractions Colombo has to offer.
Nightlife Tip:
There are plenty of pubs, clubs and restaurants dotted throughout Colombo and they all have something different to offer but beware the dreaded public/religious holidays, as all bars close on this day, and getting alcohol becomes akin to picking up your first dime-bag. I do not recommend anyone buy alcohol on a day on which it is prohibited in any country, just stock up beforehand and get a hotel with a refrigerator.
