quiet colonial hotel with beautiful view of the ocean and nice location for the restaurant. The location was in a tourist spot, nearby to the city centre. Wonderful hotel for relaxation and privacy, ideal for a honeymoon. The food was good and affordable and no complaints regarding the room nor the bathroom. Excellent sea view from the room. Restaurants even had beach barbeques and pool side dining with a quartet playing soothing music.

the cove restaurant on the beach

the hotel is a good choice if you want to avoid the busy and dirty colombo. the rooms are comfortable and clean, though some refurbishment is required considering the 5 starts classification. the pool is quite small. the best thing is the cove restaurant on the beach. don't miss the fish market nights. the receptionists are not very friendly, when asked about extra information.

staff were extremely helpful when a phone was lost. They went to extroidinaly lengths to track it down. The seafood on the beach restaurant was fabulous. Very clean and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel.
