The Park Street hotel is an excellent choice for Colombo. It's close to what you might need, yet serene and calm. So much more classy than the huge soulless hotels.

The warm, friendly welcome from the manager on our arrival set the scene,. The check in was quick and the room was more than we expected. The pool was clean and great to chill out by.
The dinner was very tasty and the waiters were attentive but not intrusive. Good choice on the menu and wine list.
The hotel arrange our day trips and as expected they knew their city.
The cost was reasonable and I would recommend the Park Street hotel as a destination hotel for business or holiday
