Fabulous boutique hotel,
Very polite, personal service. Great location, very spacious rooms.

We loved everything about it. Not all deluxe rooms have tubs as is shown on the room description but the manager moved us the next day to a room which had one. A really fine property and hope to return.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Have the hotel call you a metered taxi and avoid dealing with the tuk tuk drivers. Much nicer, cleaner and better service

Very good hotel well located in Colombo. Beautiful old house, very large room beautifully decorated with antique furniture, beautiful living room and garden with long swimming pool, friendly staff. Would definitely return!

An oasis in bustling Colombo

what an amazing hotel. after a hellish ride in from the airport with a driver who had no idea where he was going and spent 2 hours circling around colombo, we arrived at this gorgeous hotel and were instantly relaxed -- from the reception area, cold towels, fresh juice and friendly staff. the rooms were enormous with great decor, artwork and a huge bathroom. drinks were great as was breakfast -- we didn't try any other meals at the hotel. the pool was great for a dip and since there are only 10 rooms, there was never anyone else in the pool. the location is great, right near the temple, and a 10 minute tuk-tuk ride from anywhere we ate or shopped.
