We were upgraded on arrival at the Pearl City and taken across the road to the new sister hotel, the Pearl Grand. The room was a little small but good value for the money by Sri Lankan standards. Plenty of satellite channels, DVD player, nice swimming pool on the roof. The staff were friendly and efficient, arranged a taxi to the airport with no hitches. All in all we were very happy with our stay. I suspect that if we hadn't been upgraded to the Pearl Grand, we may have been disappointed with the Pearl City, but we never saw the rooms there to say for sure.

Upgrade to Hotel Pearl Grand for booking on Agoda. Hotel staff where courtacious. Rooms where clean and comfortable. Over all experience of stay in Pearl Grand hotel has been very pleasent.
