i would style this as an older style businessman's hotel, functional rooms & all amenities on offer but nothing singular to pick it out from the rest.
at the time of my stay the hotel was charging per hour for wifi connection & only in the hotel lobby which i found extremely high, especially since many cafes & restaurants in colombo provide wifi connection free of charge for their patrons.

Terrific hotel in the heart of Colombo
Excellent food in the hotel restaurant, excellent hotel bar as well.

Rooms are very good, comfortable, Internet service available for a fee. Make sure you have the right adapters, as always.
Shopping Tip:
Change money at the banks nearby the hotel, they give a much better rate than the hotel (but do charge a 1% commission, you still make out). The hotel staff can give directions, it's maybe a 10-minute walk - bring your passport.

Good location near the beach

Ramada hotels are well known around the world and my expectation was high. However, the hotel looks old from inside with all furniture having a very bad odour. Rooms a huge and ok. The corridor smells very strong. They need to change the carpets and lobby furniture! Staff is very helpful.
Shopping Tip:
Near the shopping and beach area. Central to the business district as well.

Don't go there!!
Comfy beds, good location.

This hotel is dark, dingy, run down and it stinks! I stayed there last week and tried 3 different rooms to get away from the musty, smoky smell, but to no avail. Avoid if possible, not even close to being worth the money!

It is located at the wonderful location which close to most of the shopping area, however, traffic is terrible during working hours. Foods at the coffee house is not good. However at the Indian restaurant is good. Staff are friendly. Room is clean but no wifi inside the room. They only have cable internet inside the room. I only bring my Ipad which have no cable connection and bring me lots of trouble.

i initially checked in a room and the aircon was like sauna. so the next day they asked me to change room. in the next room, aircon was great,. the good thing is that when i told thwm about it, they immediately came to fix it.
