Apartment was spacious and had all basic facilities for a good stay. Some minor issues with A/C, television and WiFi-access were there, but solved efficiently. Recommended, especially if you're with a group up to six people.

nice place to stay, if you want in the heart of the city. very close to shopping malls and other tourist attractions. its better top stay with a larger group because the apartment is so huge, where it can take nearly 8 persons.

Huge apartment and near to Odel

the 3 bedroom apartment is nice and huge. the kitchen is completed with cooking utensil so that you can cook at ease. the rooms and bathrooms are very clean. towels and soaps are provided. washing machine is also available in the apt. wifi dongle is provided by the owner. if you arrive early, just inform the owner so that you can leave your bags in the apt while they are cleaning up. check-in time at 2pm.
if you need to get to this apartment, just mention kinsey rd, near to postgrade institute of medicine, uni colombo, colombo 7. rockwood place might not be familiar among the taxi and tuktuk drivers. taxi to the airport can be arranged by the apartment security guard. tuktuk is easy to get.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The famous shopping place Odel is just 5-10 minutes walk from the apartment. To cricket fans, R. Premadasa Stadium is just about 10 minutes tuktuk ride from the apartment.

There was a lot of flexibility in staying in this apartment. The kitchen was equipped for light food preparation. There was even a washing machine, and a breezy balcony as the apartment is on the 6th floor. Totally value for money for the 6 of us. The owners were kind enough to pop in to greet us on the 1st night and offered some very useful tips on shopping, sightseeing and airport transportation.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Everything is almost within walking distance from the apartment. Absolutely convenient. A tip for local transportation arrangement; do mention that it is located around the corner from Kerry College at Kinsey Road. It is a bit difficult to explain Rockwood Place. This was the original name of the road it was on. However, it had changed since. A lot of local transportation will not know Rockwood Place.

my family and i had a wonderful stay at this hotel. the staff were fantastic - they simply could not do enough for us. the rooms were clean and well-maintained. the location is great, right on the sea front and a short walk to the beach areas. the terrace has agreat view out across the bay. the food was of a high quality but a little above the average in terms of price. were able to use the swimming pool of the sister hotel which was quite near by. overall, i would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

A huge flat with loads of rooms but nothing special in terms of standards. Funnily enough it was so big that i didnt feel comfortable leaving my kids in another room. Average facilities and very 2 star but ok to kill a night in colombo

The owner drove down at an inconvenient time to hand over the keys to us. Very friendy. All standard facilities expected from a serviced apartment are there. Located at a pretty peaceful place with grocery stores and eateries at a walking distance. Good value for money
