We enjoyed our stay, for the money, compared to similar hotels in other major cities I would say it is about right. in some areas you could comment the room was tired e.g small bits of chipped plaster, pen stained cushions etc.
We sat round the pool all day and enjoyed good food and drinks with great service. Would definitely stay again.

Our stay at this hotel was mixed it is a beautiful hotel in a great location however I have to agree with some previous comments some staff need a bit more training. We booked one night and asked about a second night and how much it would be instead of giving us a price she just said it is going to be two to three hundred more than agoda and we should just book with them like because we had booked with agoda we couldn't afford any other price and she couldn't be bother to give us one. So we stayed our one night and checked into Mt Lavinia hotel which has an even better location. Also when we checked out we had to wait while they checked mini bar, really in a five star hotel and they have my credit card details.
