Beautiful boutique gem in the heart of Colombo

Chose Zylan as our base for the first part of our Colombo stay. Set in the quiet residential area of Cinnamon Gdns, this villa is well designed to be airy and spacious. When inside, you forget you are in Colombo!! Our room was the executive with jacuzzi. It was very large with a seating area with widescreen tv, kingsize bed, changing area with plenty of space for shoes/clothes and a vast bathroom (twin washbasin, stonewalled shower with rain effect shower head, oh and the jacuzzi). Free wifi was very useful to catch up with goings on at home. We sampled the Sri Lankan breakfast on our first morning. It was nice, but very very spicy. Couldn't feel our mouths for some time. European style breakfasts sufficed for the rest of our stay.
I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Colombo.
