Great location vs nice pool vs beach

we liked to stay in this hotel .. only minus is that prices are not final and that will add ca 25 % extra .. but room vs bool vs cocktails vs beach-front for walking was great and we liked it a lot.. + wifi everywhere!

Huge hotel with a great pool in a good location
Good sea view from balcony. Large pool. Rooms are a little dated. Very nice balcony area with daybed.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We requested a double bed and received twins, however they were happy to push together. There is a band in the evening which is very good entertainment.
The buffet breakfast is amazing.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
We were disappointed that fins were not available for hire as the current is very strong. I would recommend you bring your own if you wish to snorkel.

this was a really great hotel with lovely staff who were super friendly. the pool side is wonderful and the beach was great. tip, the beach front right outside of the hotel isn't that great, walk down the stretch of beach (though it can get a bit rocky) for 10 - 15 minutes and you'll be on pristine sand with much better water and killer waves for surfing or jumping around in! the restaurant here (the crab) was excellent for seafood! the room was spacious and really wonderful with a lovely balcony as well. overall it was a great stay here. free wifi too!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
There are 20 seaturtles that leave around the hotel that frequently swim up to shore and you can pet them and feed them!

nice location but Noisy
modern hotel and functional design,good food,clean rooms.

3 weekends dayes are very noisy when hosting non guist parties untilke mid night so no early sleep.a few small ants in the rooms.rooms are not sound insulated.
Travel tip:
ask for 4th floor rooms in the southern part.

It was such a amazing first day in sri lanka staying at chya that we decided to have another night there we were on a budgit but we loved the hotel so much we payed for another night before we moved to cheaper accomodation,my fiance went to the spa and said she had a amazing massage and her being a massage theripist herself this was a compliment to the staff at the spa,will deffo be staying there again next time in lanka

We had our first night hear and it was amazing the staff are really friendly and allways have a smile on their face.The rooms are great realy comfy bed the bathroom is a great size withan amazing shower.We had a balcony lookin over the pool and out to the ocean,it was a bit further away from the main surf spot but only a 10 min walk or 2 min took took journey.Swimming in the amazing pool all day was great,food wad also good

It's a beautiful hotel in a great location that is let down by such poor service. Also beware of the buffet breakfast that charges for an orange juice as well as usd for a child that's the hotel will charge you if you book through agoda.

Very nice hotel with a great layout. Right on the beach. Breathtaking views of the ocean.
Surrounded by a safe little village with lots of options. Very clean rooms and surroundings. House keeping staff are very helpful. Each room has its own private balcony, perfect for waking up to or an afternoon nap.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Ask one of the pool staff to arrange for you to feed a giant sea turtle , big hit with the kids.
