Amazingly Poor Facilities

Really nice location for surfing break.
Staffs are friendly
but
Too small bed, The matress is also poor.
Basically looks clean but the corner of the bathroom or the window are not.
No hanger for the closet and old newspaper left inside of the closet .
Small restaurant area due to renovations. Had to wait to get table for breakfast.Also slow service.
Normal rooms don't have sea view windows which shows us behind the shaby building.
From the restaurant area doesn't see surf break.
Restaurant Tip:
Roti No.1 is No.1 roti restaurant which is located next to suepermarcket.
Wood fire, Pizza restaurant is nice service with the wood fire cray oven. just next door.

Budget hotel. Good location

The hotel just been re-futbished but still not complete. Location is good being in the center of hikkaduwa srilanka and plenty of eating joints and bars around. Not much of staff to be seen around and they are still getting their act together. Rooms standardly spaciious and facility of a pool is good. Wouldn't eat from rhe hotel and no bar either. All in all a gud location but could do with a bit of joy laughter and a gud cheering up for the staff.
Out of the hotel and onto the beach walk towards the right for about 15 minutes and you come across lovely little pools of water ideal for snorkling and a group of resident turtles a bit further. Walk to the left on the beach and the perfect place to swim dip and catch small waves.
