terrible room no aircon or hot water

WORST ROOM I HAVE EVER STOPPED IN

dont take the risk of staying here as the hotel owners just do not know what customer care is about.after arriving and being given a room(12) the first thing i noticed was no air con which in the description says all rooms have a/c.also holes in the bed sheets, horrid damp smell from cupboard where you put clothes,dusty,empty bottles left from previous occupant and even holes in chairs.i complained about the room to the owners wife and staff as he was not there but as there english is very poor it is very hard.when i thought i had got somewhere with another room being offered i was then asked to pay another £200 for the privalage after paying just under £300 in the first place so declined.i didnt leave it there and tried to see the owner again after eventually getting it up on line(wifi very poor) with the proof of a/c in all rooms but again he was not there and during the 10 day i stayed he never came to see me about my complaints.

better hotels in the area the blue note is very good and food excellant

avoid the rancid cockroach infested standard rooms

this was the most miserable hotel stay in my life. the standard room was absolutely filthy, infested with cockroaches and far too hot to sleep. the bathroom was particularly disgusting! we left early even though we paid in advance!! however, the staff were friendly and breakfasts above average.
