Families with young children Sri Lanka, May 16, 2013	Simply perfect Family Holiday Excellent food, friendly staff, breathtaking view 10 We stay at Albatross just a few days ago during our visit to Kandy. Our whole family loved this and had a very enjoyable stay. Albatross is about 40 minutes away from Kandy town but was perfect for us as we didn't want to live in the busy cramped city. Albatross over looks the Victoria golf course and Victoria damn and the lookout is simple magical. The place is so peaceful in the evenings and the staff was excellent. It was really personalized private butler service. The rooms are large, Comfortable beds, very simple yet elegantly designed. They have a beautiful hot jacuzi with front row seats to the magical view, lovely pool, steam room and sauna.The theme bar and pool table was a perfect touch to the evening's fun. For breakfast we could request for what ever we wanted. The dinners were amazing quality fine dinning meals at a fraction of the cost at other restaurants in Sri Lanka. I strongly recommend staying here for travelers with small children, couples, honeymooners, etc.

Great golf.The jaccuzi and swimming pool was very well kept and we had an enjoyable stay. The food and service was very good and the staff were very courteous and helpful. Pity that there wre only five rooms, but the smaller the crowd more homely it was.

Couples Greece, August 22, 2012	Beautiful view, peaceful stay, a bit dated rooms panoramic view 7.7 we spend only a night at albatross golfing and holiday resort after a full day we had in kandy. although we spend very little time there (we arrived at 21:30 in the evening)it was definitely a very peaceful stay, it is a hotel for those who like nature and quietness. the best thing is the panoramic view that someone can enjoy in the common areas only as the rooms are very average. they are very clean but dated. unfortunately we didn't have the chance to taste the meals of the hotel (that are supposed to be very good), the jacuzzi, the golf club or the swimming pool. the staff was very friendly and kind. it is for sure a place for relaxing and for enjoying the scenery.
