this is a really nice 3 star hotel with great view of kandy , great buffet breakfast , nice swimming pool and friendly staff esp MR ALFRED on the front desk , a little away from the centre , too far to walk but tuktuk will take you there for 250 rupees .peridenyia gardens and the lake were beautiful

10 minutes walk from train station.

Nice and clean room. My room was recently renovated. However I saw the not renovated rooms, and I would not felt comfortably in it. Best shower in my 3 weeks journey in Sri Lanka. A bit noisy beause I was under the dining room. You could ear the chairs moving around at 6h00 am and at the end of the day, 23h00.

Despite our early arrival, we were checked in promptly and cheerfully. Room was clean with a good view over the garden/pool area and surrounding hills. The breakfast buffet offered a good selection of Sri Lankan and western foods. Altogether a very pleasant and comfortable stay.

This hotel is a bit tired but is up out of the hustle and chaos of Kandy, although you never quite get away from the noise. Lots of groups of Europeans seem to come here and we encountered a particularly loud bunch who kept us awake for hours! Not the hotel's fault.
