Nice enough but could be better

Our stay was ok. The room was clean and confortable but it was empty when we were there so tried to extend our stay, the host offered to give us the room at the same price as the agoda rate but then added his own tax as well despite the agoda rate incuding taxes. Breakfast was ok. Staff were friendly and the main host had good english. It is a bit far from the main centre of kandy but this is the same with most places so dont let that put you off - a tuk tuk should be no more than 150-200. There is a rooster close by that was very noisy all night.

Okay hotel but far from the city center

My room was okay; the toilet was not flushing well but the owner asked the housekeeper to fix it twice (done quickly). Once I arrived there I realized how far the hotel is from the city center. You need either a tuk tuk or public transport to go back to the hotel, especially after sunset.

The hotel is fabulous great views and the rooms are lovely very clean and spacious. The owners are lovely and not pushy about tours they gave us loads of advice and even a ride into town in there 1972 VW beetle!
Hotel Feature Tip:
Don't pay more than 200 rupees for a tuk tuk into town. The hotel is only 15 min walk though.

Near to the city and Buddha tooth relic temple. Very nice view of nature.

It was very pleasent stay only few disturbance from some of the guests who were consuming alcohol in the lobby. But management was good enough to ask them to leave the lobby after we made the complain. Small rooms but very good for the money we pay. Clean rooms and friendly staff

Okay hotel bathroom however was not up to scratch. 1st shower hot water lasted a few minutes, second shower better. Bathroom not clean, could do with a good scrub. When room window open continual fuel smell. Breakfast very basic.

nice place, not located in city though, very simple rooms that need a good clean!! there was a black out and no generator put on so our room was completely dark. over all nice simple place
Restaurant Tip:
Don't eat at the KFC not fresh, dunno how long chicken been sat there, chips cooked to many times.
