the stay at topaz was good. staff was very friendly. hotell location is awesome some people though might find it bit away from city but for me it was a plus point
they also gave us free internet service in the lobby.

I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights in October 2009 and had a really pleasant stay. The staff are extremely friendly and knowledgable of the local area. The breakfast was excellent, especially the omelettes cooked to order, however, the evening meal was not as good and we were left disappointed on 2 occasions. The main attraction of this hotel is the location, great views of the city of Kandy and the local area. For the price we paid for the hotel it was excellent value for money.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Watch Sri Lankan dancing at 5.30pm in the city centre.
