close to Kelaniya Temple

The hotel is on Kandy Road, located in Kiribathgoda, near the commercial street, not in the rural country side. If you go to airport or temple, you can ask for a taxi from the hotel Pabasara at a very reasonable and cheap price. Breakfast is included and very tasty.

Don't go to the wrong way. There are two Koswatha Road in Kelaniya.Hotel Pabasara located in Kiribathgoda town center, close to Kandy Road and Foodcity supermarket.

Ihre Standortbeschreibung war mehr als miserabel. Nicht ein Taxifahrer oder Tuc Tuc Fahrer wußte von dem Hotel. Von wegen Colombo, es war 12km weit draußen, ich habe in den 6 Tagen nicht einen anderen Touristen gesehen, es ist eine fürchterlichr Gegend. Ich blieb nur länger weil ich stark erkältet war. Man müßte das Geld zurückverlangen für diese Erfahrung. Manager ewar hilfsbereit und freundlich der Rest nur freundlich weil sie durch die Bank weg kein englisch konnten. Außerdem vermietet das Hotel die Zimmer für bestimmte Gäste auch stundenweis.Zwar angeboten im Internet und auch bezahlt,aber es gab nicht die tägliche Zeitung, den Zimmersafe und die dritte Sache fällt mir jetzt nicht mehr ein.
Travel tip:
Wenn der Name Pabasara auftaucht, schnell weg von der Seite.

Other than having good facilities at Hotel Pabasara,it has a wonderful Manager Mr Antony and his staff. He had treated us like a family and so does his staff. His staff Mr Salman went all the way out to purchase a Tamil newspaper and blanket,as the hotel doesnt provide. The food cooked by their in house chef was delicious.

Is far from the city, but is closed to the road and u can catch a bus easily.
Good food, the breakfast is free and u can take it "a la carte"
Is clean, the staff is friendy and the most thing I like it was is save, the security is really good.

the english-speaking staff (very few) were helpful but overall the staff had no idea about westerners. we booked a "family room" for 4. it ended up being a single king-size bed. they say they'll be changing the listing on agoda. we had to share an a/c remote between the two rooms we ended up getting. the doors won't lock from the outside, so don't plan to leave anything remotely valuable! funniest of all, there were only bottom sheets on the beds and no covers or top sheets. we had to ask for sheets.

it is not a hotel but just rooms, with no almera, broken doors, direty rooms, dirty linen, full of bad smell. i noticed most of people go there for 2-3 hours with moven for shots.first night, no ac room, i just stayed in a room.
