quiet hotel.....mr lalith is very helpful.

Mr Lalith was always very helpful. Improvements to the hotel were going on hence no sun loungers in garden by pool. However they are due within the next month. Staff could be a little more attentive but then again many were always preparing for wedding functions, so otherwise busy. If you dont mind waiting, then you should be fine. we enjoyed our stay in a vibrant town.
Restaurant Tip:
The nearby Ran Mal Hotel is good for an alcoholic beverage in the evening. Nice setting by the lake. Very quiet and under construction.

Clean Rooms but little bit costly

It was emergency arrangements, Check in time mention on agoda as 1.30 a.m but when i went to that place it was 12.00p.m in afternoon. But we got the room around 11.30 a.m, It was clean rooms with nice arrangement, Foods are not satisfied, Pool is good enough. So nice place to stay much more to improve.

Cannot complain about staff..they were the best!! ...BUT, this hotel is fairly isolated, 13 kilometers from Colombo. Very few guests. Nice view of the lake. If one wants solitude and privacy, it is a good place. Quiet, no restaurants or shopping areas near-by, no night life. Free Wi-Fi in the lobby only.

a good hotel with good staffs.very helping mentality.we stayed 4 nights in a reasonable cost and the hotel persons help us to arrange the sight seeing and other services .they arranged me the vehicle and a good driver from hotel to all places.over all satisfied,because we total 6 persons(2 male+4 female)from a family and enjoyed a tension free holiday .
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
take a cab from hotel and arrange your own sight seeing because it will help you to save lots of money.the average price per 8 person cab is 2,500/- slr for 3 hours and 40 km and the maximum charge per day is 10000/- slr.(1$=130 slr)
hotel is in moratuwa and it is actually 57km from colombo airport.airport -pick up maximum -4,000 to 4500/- slr.

Made the reservation in a hurry (checked-in same day morning) trough Agoda . Got a very good budget deal and stayed in 1st floor standard room. We were satisfied with comforts at hand, comfortable bed, clean room, clean bathroom, TV with few English channels, some degree of view of Lake from room, clean mid-size swimming pool, room-service provided by friendly staff and a helpful front desk manager.
Hotel had limited surroundings and food / beverage menu was limited but generally a good hotel to stay on with a limited budget.

Stayed for 3 nights. God a good discount on Agoda. Located next to the lake but rooms don't have a lake view. Also Wifi isn't available in the room as stated in hotel features in Agoda. You need to go to the reception area to access it. Bathroom amenities not available. The rooms were not serviced daily either.
Staff was very nice with a good attitude. Our booking included breakfast and when we informed we will not be taking breakfast the 3rd morning, they offered us free lunch. Very nice policies of the Management. Also close to the Panadura and Moratuwa towns which has plenty of restaurants.

finally found a good clean hotel in my price range. everything was new and working.. nothing to do at night was a shame. right next to lake but at present no access but manager says they will soon build a small pier for boating and fishing.
Travel tip:
if you want a laid back maybe romantic time to do little then this is the place, theyll bring food to room at no extra charge let u choose what you want for breakfast..
