Quite dissapointed about the hotel we booked for our wedding anniversary
We booked a suite, what was pretty big but all the furniture was worn down and is set up pretty boring.
We tried the food a couple of times and got pretty dissapointed each time.
Breakfast buffet is alright if there is actually everything available.
Overall wouldn't recommend the place for what you are paying.

Nice stay and really enjoyed and decent and well behaved and very supprtive staff and actually its an excellent place for a Holiday and Hideout without the noice of the city but very near and well accessed to city .and Good sgopping places nearby like ODEL,NO LIMIT etc.Nice food also and not too costly also.

the staff on the reception was nice and friendly, only one staff there was unprofessional and has harassed me with phone calls in my room and Facebook stalking.

I liked this hotel. The room was nice, but the stone floor was very cold the room was very spacious with a big double bed.
The swimming pool is also large with different dipness for children and for adults. A lot of lounges around it and they are not close from the sun.
Staff is friendly but they don't want to work good. I asked them to iron our clothes - they brought it back on shoulders but it wasn't ironed at all. I had to ask them to iron it again other way I would not pay for it. In several minutes they did it in proper way. I didn't like this moment, I think that the service should be on the high level.
The location is also very good, not too far from Colombo. We went to Colombo by taxi, but we went back on food. It was a very interesting and cognitive trip. We visited different districs - for students, for shopping, saw a lot of people. If you want to see the real life of the people it's better to do in this way.

Relaxing atmosphere with a smile

Like this hotel for it's relaxed atmosphere and generally good service. The restaurant food was good value for money with rice and curry at around Rs400/- for very generous portions. The pool and garden was excellent and with the trees there was ample shade. Our room was large and the bed was very comfortable. Plenty of hot water and a good sized shower. This is not 5 star so don't expect luxury fittings. What you get is a clean and comfortable room. If you have a choice choose the poolside rooms as they have free wi-fi connection. Clearly the management are working on improvements to service and our room was diligently checked by the housekeeping manager every day to ensure that standards were being maintained. My only negative would be that the room rate was a little bit on the high side for what was essentially a budget hotel.
Hotel Feature Tip:
book a poolside room with wi-fi. Parts of the hotel are not covered by the wi-fi reception.
