Great value beach hotel
On the beach, spacious rooms, very affordable

Overall, great value for a beach hotel. Spacious, clean rooms with ample amenties. Friendly staff, though not very fluent in English. Good choice of local and internal dishes on menu. Themed buffet nights at only around 15USD. Negombo town is 8 mins by Tuk Tuk (around 300 rupees or under 3 USD).

The Goldi Sands Hotel, Negombo is about 5 minutes drive from Negombo City but within a few minutes walk of some local shops, bars and restaurants. Rooms are simply furnished with a private balcony or terrace, opening out onto an attractive garden. Air conditioning is provided only at night time. The Goldi Sands is a relaxing holiday resort, close to the beach with a reasonable size pool.
