Overall our stay was relaxing and the spa treatments very good. Pools and bar relaxing and on the beach. I was possible to get a late check out until 11pm for half rate which was very useful as our flight was not until 4 in the morning

After travelling around Sri Lanka for 2 weeks this hotel was wonderfully relaxing. everything about it was first class. It's location on the beach was perfect and so well placed for the airport.
I would highly recommend this hotel to other travellers.

Stayed here overnite between flights. Hotel was very nice, comfortable beds, restaurant food was very good and an absolute bargain compared with the Maldives where we came from.
Beach and garden seemed very pleasant and from our 3rd floor roof we had very nice views. Could see all the Sri-Lankan sailing boats in the morning
Staff member on the 3rd floor (room numbers 4xx), rushed to open our room door each time and whilst we were at dinner decorated with bed with flowers and made an elephant our of the hand-towels. Extremely helpful.
Had crazy young driver from airport, but the hotel taxi on the return was very professional, safe and nice. Taxi ride around US$25

we stayed there for a night before catching a flight back home. the rooms are large and spacious. with a huge swimming pool. I guess this hotel wad designed by Geoffrey bawa.. it's not maintained as good as it should have been. breakfast half lots of variety. beach is also clean. WiFi signal is very weak inside the rooms. lobby its fine. overall it's comfortable

Great Hotel - Noisy though, full of crow

The hotel ,beach and pool are fantastic. It was a bit noisy as there's like over a million crows and our room was above the restaurant (hearing forks, spoons and knives).
Room was fantastic and huge ! In addition to this, the pool and quiet sea were awesome.

We stayed here on our last night in Sri Lanka and wished we had stayed a further night. I was a little put off by Negombo after reading many reviews, however I thought it to be a pleasant town. Agreed, it doesn't have the same charm us other beach areas in Sri Lanka. However, I would always opt to stay here on my final nights in Sri Lanka, given its close proximity to the airport and the crazy flight times! I would also definitely opt to stay at Jetwing Beach again.
It was a beautiful hotel, from the grand check in, beautiful pools, great big rooms, exceptional service, great sunlounger area (the beach in Negombo is fine!! not at all as dirty as some reviewers state, we still swam) expansive and wide beach area exclusive to hotel and one of the best spas we visited on our entire trip.
The whole experience was excellent, down to the lovely packed breakfast they provided us for our very early morning flight. It was delicious and very generous!
We went for dinner next door at Jetwing Blue as my boyfriend wanted a buffet feast for his last night and that was a delicious dinner. The Jetwing chain of hotels know how to get it right!
Hotel Feature Tip:
I would ask for a second level floor room with a balcony, as from the pool we could directly see into the ground level floor rooms, bit awkward for privacy.
