This is one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. We were so happy to arrive after our flight, and also stayed on our last night in Sri Lanka. It's only about 30 minutes from the airport. The design of the hotel is so special - it is open, with water and nature all around. The design, with the lagoon surrounding the home, is so tasteful and simply beautiful. It's at the end of a road, so it is completely quiet. If you stay, make sure to walk back to the main road and down the path to the gorgeous stretch of beach that goes on for miles. We were with our two young boys and they also loved the pool. There is no menu, but the cook will make you a wonderful, delicious meal. They even got up at 5 in the morning to make us breakfast with fresh pineapple juice before our early flight. We were so lucky to find this hidden charm.

This is a really charming boutique hotel with only three rooms. We mostly had the place to ourselves, which made it feel like our own private villa. We swam, we ate, we read and enjoyed the mating calls of the koel and the gentle breezes. There was free WiFi, an attentive, friendly staffand a beautiful pool. Paradise for a few days!

•Pass Ja-ela Town and travel 1.3 km from Ja Ela bridge, towards Negombo
•Turn left at sign leading to Villa Palma / Asiri (there is also a green sign indicating 4 km to Pamunugama just before the turnoff)
•Travel 6 km until you reach a T junction. Turn right at this junction
•Continue 7.7 km towards Thalahena and Negombo, on the Thalahena Road
•Turn right (to the land side) at sign leading to “Villa Kalapuwa”on to concrete road at the sign for George Electrical. There is a bridal dressing shop (Malintha Perera) on the opposite side of the road. The tarred road converts to a gravel road. There is also a long pinkish brown wall continuing beyond the turn off.
•The bungalow is the last property on the left, immediately before the lagoon
