Unsatisfactory - we left the hotel a day early

We left the hotel a day early. hotel was completely soulless. didn't want to end our holiday on such a low note. Breakfast was horrible - very stale bread, bad fruit in the juice. We had to ask 3 different people about a refund for the missed night because nobody would address the situation. Needless to say, no refund. When we asked for help booking a car to our next destination we were given a phone number and told to sort it out. Very expenseive from UK phone. Bathroom smelt disgusting

Very clean hotel and friendly personnal but
too close from the road.Large rooms.Food
is good but expensive , you should eat at
SAP restaurant just at the oposite left side
of the road.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Dambulla is a good place for making the cultural part
of sri lanka

Staff were very friendly and helpful, like all Sri Lankan. Ambient was quiet at night, food is great, for cheaper food option, there is a small restaurant just next to the entrance, also owned by the hotel. Location is great, stay here for 2 nights, you can visit Dambulla Cave Temple, Sigiriya and Polonaruwa. Buses to Sigiriya and Polonaruwa is very 30 min, the tuk-tuk will tell you bus service at every 2 hours. It is 2 hours to Kandy and Anuradahpura, great location to stay.

Wonderful hotel
Amazing pool, very comfortable bed, very friendly staff.

I was able to use one of the hotel bikes for free to wander around the town. The staff was very helpful with any questions I had about the town and how to get to Sigiriya...they even had the security guard come and stand with me while I waited for the bus to Sigiriya, because I would be unable to read the sign and the guard waved the bus over for me.

I book the hotel using Agoda booking system but the location using google maps is wrong, the hotel is 4 or 6 kilometers away. Asked to locals and they gave me turns for more of 1 hour even driving a rented car.
