Wonderful hotel. I could feel the essence of Jeoffrey Bawa's works fusing natural environment with modern forms. So pleasurable place... beautiful sunrise from the open and aboveboard Bathroom, Lake kandalama view from the horizontal pool, staff hospitality.. beautiful..

Heritance Kandalama was a beautiful hotel set on the lake with Lion Rock in the background. It was visually spectacular. The staff were very friendly and helpful while the food provided in the Buffet Breakfast was fantastic. Great location for going out exploring IF you have your own driver, if you don't then you will pay dearly for the hotels drivers.
