Perfect place for a quiet retreat.

I staid with my parents for three nights at The Other Corner to explore the Cultural Triangle. Even though it is a bit hidden, we could easily get everywhere. The place is amazingly beautiful and I have to admit, it spoiled us a bit for the rest of our journey. Few chalets are spread widely in a beautiful garden, so you don't see much of other guests but more of fruit trees and birds. There is a very nice and well-kept pool to refresh from the afternoon (or morning) heat. The staff was very attentive and fulfilled every little wish we could possibly have. The also organised several trips to Pidurangala mountain and an Elephant Safari at Hurulu Eco Park. I can only recommend this place as a base for the Cultural Triangle.

Fun the first eco-hotel I stayed at
Dirt walls keep temps down, quiet place wher you can hear the birds,friendly staff

Very nice stay, it is quiet a long walk to the center of town where another restaurant is and the busconnections and tuktuk connections.
