Being a solo female traveler I have always ensured safe, clean places to stay at. Thaproban beach house was recommended to me by a friend. It's right at the beach, lovely quaint colonial styled rooms. The staff was efficient and friendly. Food freshly made to order. The only drawback was a lot of noise due to the road outside of the hotel.

It was simply an amazing experience. The room we got was a beach facing room & the beach was hardly 20-30 metres ahead of it. Excellent service - Good Staff / Manager was very helpful.
Food was great & ambiance was perfect.

We enjoyed our stay. A great location by the beach with ready access to the historic fort at Galle. A great menu for fish on the restaurant terrace.

Fun beachside hotel

Spent 2 nights and booked an Ocean view room which we didn't get on the first night. They blamed agoda ..? On the second day we sat on the with the most magnificent view and sunset. Unfortunately there was an all night full moon party right next door that went until 6am ... I hate duff duff !
But overall, good value, friendly staff and a good breakfast

When booking it said that the hotell had pool. It did not which was a great disapointment since we have small kids. They were however very helpful and we could change to their sister hotel which had pool.
