Ocean View Stay

My family and I stayed two nights at this very new and beautiful beach hotel. The hotel is located next to the beach and we enjoyed playing with the waves in the late afternoon. The beach is very clean and there were lots of waves too. The rooms were very clean and the bathroom was simply huge. The beds were very comfortable and I slept very well here. The hotel location is quite isolated, but we had a van and a driver with us so it was not a problem for us to get in and out when we wanted to.

Lovely hotel but no entertainment

Not worth for the amount of money spent..the food was not upto standard and the buffet was of no variety.so disappointed that we chose to spend our long vacation here with our friends and we will not recommend the hotel to anyone.

we have spend 2 nights in this very well cared hotel, the ocean view room was wonderfull expect the room we had in the downstairs as a "living room" which was not usefull for us cause the furnitures was not suitable. means there was no sofa in the mean of a sofa to sit on but it was a building from few chairs... also the indoor dining which we took was prepared on a little desk and there was no suitable chairs to this desk, so that we ate, sitting next to each others with 2 different chairs at a desk to have the dinner... the restaurant itself is nice and meals really excellent. thanks to all the staff, all was friendly and helpfull always...

A long long way to go before it's a Jetwing

On arrival we were not greeted at all. When we finally spoke to someone, they were rude and told us our room was fully booked.
They said they would upgrade us. When we arrived at our 'upgraded' room we were shocked. It looked like it was still being renovated. The layout was poor and it was tucked away in a corner. We complained and eventually were given the room we requested. This room was much nicer, but there was no hot water. The manager did try and rectify it, but we went a night without showers. We were offered no compensation. There are also, as in some other reviews, Beach boys that harass and stare at you all day. I would not stay here again.

Perfect place for some luxury days of recreation

The Haridra Resort & Spa is the nicest and most relaxing hotel I have seen in Sri Lanka so far and was the perfect choice for the last days of our holiday.
The rooms are really great, when lying in bed through the massive windows (from floor to ceiling) at the whole front you look directly at the ocean and also actually hear the waves, which is more or less everything you hear in this hotel. The AC, although not really silent, works great and really sets the room to a given temperature. The bathroom is like the whole hotel: Simple, straight, high-quality. What you would expect from a 5-star hotel.
The staff is, compared to many other hotels in Sri Lanka, a very positive suprise. All people working in this hotel are very nice and attentive, like the towel guy, who when he saw us having breakfast automatically put towels for us on the sunbeds we had been lying on the day before. This is something I never experienced in another hotel!
The hotel is quite new and was recently taken over by the Jetwing group. You really notice that they are in a constant improvement process, each day some small things improved. Breakfast variety improved over time, one evening we suddenly got some bread and butter on the table (although not again the next day), the last day the waiter came to our sunbed to ask us for drinks (which never happened on the first days), and so on. This is the first hotel in Sri Lanka where I saw the staff having meetings each day and where you could actually see that they come out of that with positive improvements.

A Great New Hotel with Fantastic Staff
Quiet and secluded, great food, very helpful and friendly staff

A very secluded boutique hotel on the west coast, has great views of the ocean from every room. Only one restaurant but the food is excellent, the staff cannot do enough for you, all are helpful and friendly.
Travel tip:
I would recommend this hotel as a place to stay to relax and unwind after travelling around the other sights of SL.

お部屋が広い。バスタブ、シャワールームの広さと新しさ

家族で2泊致しました。
まだ閑散期だったせいか私達以外のお客様は1組だけ、
翌日は結婚式があったようですがゲストは無く
朝食は2泊共にブッフェではなかったのが残念でした。
ただ、お部屋の広さと（Ocean View suite) 公式ページの
写真通りの印象の広くて美しいバスルームが最高で
余りの気持ち良さにお風呂には何度も入ってしまいました。
アメニティも充実。
結論として本当にリラックスできました。
是非また訪れたいです！
お部屋にはWifiはなく、LAN（無料）のみですが
不便はありませんでした。1階のロビーはWifi対応だそうです。

◆次回に期待：お食事の味は平均的・お部屋にルームサービスメニューが無かったこと
◆その他：ワドゥワには目ぼしいレストランは無かったので、
