Great getaway hotel for a couple

This hotel is a Taiwanese "love hotel" geared toward couples who want a night or even a few hours away from their multi-generational homes, etc. It is definitely geared towards couples - there is porn on the TV so if that's not your thing, or you have kids there, avoid or be very careful about which channels you view. There are no services at this hotel - you check in while still in your car, and each room has a discrete parking area with a garage door. The room was large, the bed very comfortable. The jacuzzi tub was the centerpiece of the bathroom, and was perfect for two. We think breakfast could be arranged for extra charge from a very small menu, but since we don't read Chinese, we didn't try it.

Very special hotel, may be not for travellers
The room was very spacious, clean private indoor parking, jaccuzzi in the room !

When we first looked at the reviews, we thought it was a good hotel with spa. But we were a little bit surprise because the hotel looks like a secret hotel for lovers who hide. I explain : when you arrive there is no reception desk or hotel entrance, there is just a woman in a glass box as you would see at parking entrances. She gives you a key and let you know where to park. Each client has is own private parking. Each parking has a door which directly leads to your room or I would call it "suite". There is "vaseline" on the bedsides. This is quite unuasual in ordinary hotel. You do not have any common lobby and you never sees other clients of the hotel because each room is individual with it's own entrance from the parking. I would not recomment the hotel for a couple with kids because there is no service. For other travellers, I would say, the ambiance is "weird" but in term or cleanness, space, the room is really perfect.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Do not expect to be able to take a breakfast, there is no "ordinary" hotel's services just go to the Starbucks in the city !

Lovely hotel - big room with jacuzzi

The hotel is situated in a school area (primary schools and tutorial agents in the neighbourhood). About 10 mins driving from the Chiayi Train Station. There's a nice local restaurant named "fung mei siu kwun' near the hotel (around 10 mins walking). The hotel room is very big with contemporary design and a big jacuzzi. Drawbacks: no in-room wifi and hotel staff were not professional. But given the room size and facilities, it's definitely a value for money.

Interesting motel, not suitable for friends

Hotel had a very interesting concept, a garage style concept where one can park their car in the garage where their hotel rooms are also located. Located quite far away from the nearest night market, about a twenty minute walk. Clean and modern facilities, very comfortable. However, it is more suitable for couples rather than friends due to the questionable choice of TV channels.
Hotel Feature Tip:
You can order breakfast sets from the hotel which they will deliver to your doorstep, costing about US$2 per pax.

Decent Hotel with large bathroom

Design and layout is like that of the typical Taiwanese Love Motel. The drive-in garage is in the ground floor and the room is on the 2nd level. tacky KTV lounge like design but the bathroom was amazing, size was huge, enough to fit 15 people and had a TV inside at the jacuzi.

i've been to a few motels during my stay in TW. All are better than the ones in the states... I've hit a few where i felt undersatisfied (even a different Her Home Spa Motel).. but the one here in Chiayi is very clean and roomy.. the spa/bath had a much better design than the Douliu's Her Home Spa Motel.. i'd give this a 4/5

love this place. bt the thing is it is nt near ah li shan. i dont own a car so the car shelter is of no use. the room is spacious and with gd spa. i enjoy myself very much for the hotel. just the location is not tat fantistic
