The rooms were small,no place for luggage and walking. However it is clean. Simple breakfast.No laundry service, have to walk a street away to wash clothes from public laundry service. Of course have to pay. NTD 40 for dryers and NTD30-NTD100 for washing clothes. East Coast Scenery is beautiful.

The room was correct, even if it was on the street, it was quite calm.
The walls are too thin, we hear everything fro mthe other rooms.
The breakfast has no fruits juice, nor tea ... in a chinese country ??!!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Buy the Taroko Bus Ticket with illimited travels. it's 250$ for one day, the bus stop is just on the street next to the hotel.

green hotel hualien is very near to hualien raiway station (only 2 minutes by walking). the hotel staff is friendly and helpful. bus stops are also very near. the location is very convenient. the room is not large but clean. the breakfast is not so good. it doesnot seem to be common in taiwan that the hotel insists on 3:00-pm checking in. as i lived in japan for a long time, it is quite common in japan, but in chinese societies the rule seems very odd.

Convenient and Friendly Hotel, but Messy Bathroom

We love the location (just across from the railway station. Nice room-- good-sized for a family-- but air conditioner lacked power. Very helpful and professional staff. Bathroom had a bathtub-and-shower combination, but did not have shower curtain, making for a messy bathroom after each use.

we choose this hotel mainly because it is 5mins away from the hualien tra station. overall the room is clean but furnishing is basic. room size is considered small. this hotel is suitable for travellers who is just looking for a hotel with basic amenities with convenient location. breakfast is good. service stuff has polite attitude but may not go the extra mile in service compared to higher end hotels.
Travel tip:
Extremely suitable for those with bulky or many pieces of luggages as the hotel is just 5 mins away from the Hualien TRA.

a very affordable matured, no-frill hotel with clean room and comfortable beds...less than 200m from Hua-lien train station and Tourist Informtion Ctr which is the major selling point...yes, would return to stay.

Hotel location is just in front of Hualien Train Station. big toilet room with bathtub but no shower curtain. 30mins walk to 自强夜市. 30mins walk to shopping street 中正路. Cab price from nt100 onwards. not a lot of socket plugs.
